Who are they?
Lennox Lewis
The Klitchkos
John whatever his name was (the Mexican)
Aereola?
That Giant Russian?
Holyfield?
Some other Russians, I forgot names...
Can someone compile a list?
just wanted to remind everyone that wlad has been linear champ for a grand total of 1 fight and he should have been dq'd in that fight. some of the biggest corruption ever seen in boxing. and for anyone saying wlad was linear champ a long time ago. nope! #1 beating #3 doesn't count as the best fighting the best unless you are in grasping for straws land.
Corrie Sander was a strange one lost to Rahman and a few others but havent seen anyone rock the Klit brothers like he did. Rip
Lewis
Vitali
Wladimir
Holyfield
Byrd
Haye
Rahman
Brewster
Ibragimov/Chagaev
1.Lewis
2.Wlad
3.Vitali
4.Byrd
5.Ruiz
6.Ibragimov
7.Haye
8.Toney
9.Chagaev
10.Valuev
After the top 3 you could have 7 of 100 different fighters there's a huge drop off in quality.
James Toney???
what a joke....
How on all God's good green earth can you have Kubrat Pulev and Tony Thompson above Ruiz, Povetkin, Valuev, Haye, Byrd etc?
LMAO!! Really Haye?!?!
Tony Thompson actually gave Wladimir a fight unlike Povetkin but saying that atleast Povetkin tried to give Wlad a fight unlike David Haye who spent the majority of the fight trying to hide his face in Wladimir jockstrap.
Byrd is a powder puff puncher that got lucky with Vitali sustaining an injury during the fight to his shoulder and he couldn't even beat an old past it Andrew Golota but yeah sure he should just rate above Tony Thompson and Pulev...
As for Haye... He doesn't belong anywhere near the top ten, Samuel Peters is ahead of him.
Where's Chris Byrd? Might as well throw Tyson in there, too. Even though he was in decline, he'd beat a couple of guys on your list.
Could maybe of took John Ruiz off for Chris Byrd but I wasn't sure with what to do on that one.
Ruiz is the only one I think Byrd would of probably beat out of that ten though.
Not so sure about Mike Tyson though... I mean he did get stopped by Danny Williams and alot of the guys I put in my list are legitimate big heavyweights.
Laugh all you want, everybody knows Vitali retired Lewis and that Lewis wanted none of the Bros.
Wladimir is 38 this year and will be next linear HW Champion ---- ATG.
Don't be silly. Wlad was getting knocked around like a rag doll left right and center.
Lewis was actually supposed to fight him, but then he got knocked out by Sanders.
Laugh all you want, everybody knows Vitali retired Lewis and that Lewis wanted none of the Bros.

What drivel. Lewis was on route to KOing Vitali, and Wlad was still too green
The latter part is correct, however. Wlad is an ATG.

I think he's referring to these two.

After hanging up blood stained gloves matted with clumps of eyebrow and cheek Lennox spent his leisure time at various gigs and music festivals but famously refused to attend a charity event with the brothers Goss amid suspicions that they were responsible for starting the homosexual rumours (remember those?!).
Of course he couldn't have possibly meant the Klitschko's. If Lewis would have realised that all he had to do was cut up the remaining 50% of Vitali's face and take out Ross Puritty's leftovers then he would have been free to reign over a division bearing an uncanny likeness to an Andy Warhol installation, he would surely have stuck around and fought no-marks well into middle age.
Sadly he didn't have the foresight to realise how barren the division would become once the last great heavyweight called it a day.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Green K your way, Sir!
Bros? As in Plural?
I think he's referring to these two.

Greatest rather than best?
Lewis = Wlad
Byrd
Vitali
After that theres a very steep drop off. Lots of contenders for 5-10 but none that really distinguish themselves. Chaghaev, Ibragimov, Valuev? This is painful.

5. nicolay valuev

Seth Mitchell? I didn't say HW of the month some time in 2012.
From 2000 to present day on?
Okay my list would be -
Lennox Lewis
Wladimir Klitschko
Vitali Klitschko
Lamon Brewster
Kubrat Pulev
Tony Thompson
Alexander Povetkin
John Ruiz
Evander Holyfield
Nikolai Valuev
That is how my list would go, baring in mind the list is from 2000 onwards hence why Holyfield isn't scored higher up in the field of ranking.
