Lol! Kell Brook isn't very well known at all. He is known to those who are into boxing but otherwise no. I know people rant about Khan being disliked and etc***8230; but you wait till Kell beats a top ten WW he will not shut up, thats if he beats him.

Khan is a big name and it's ironic but the hate he generates has made him a household name in the UK. Kell brook is not well known at all. In fact that's not even his real name! You'd think he would have chosen a better name than that! If you want a laugh go listen to kell brook speak on YouTube then listen to the comedian Keith lemon.

Kell who? Lol he has done nothing of note I don't even see why he is relevant. Khan at least is a 2x world champion.

Amir Kahn is a household name in the UK, and has been since the Beijing Olympics. He is probably the most famous active British boxer. Only David Haye could dispute this. Kell Brook is a relative unknown. He's not even a big name amongst casual fight fans in Britain. 100% agree with this. I fit into the casual fight category. I've always wanted Khan to lose since the amateur rematch with Kindelan. Kindelan barely threw a punch from what I remember. There was a report his sister received a mystery payment of about £80,000 pound into her bank account. My view was that Warren wanted him to win to set a platform before going pro to then milk him.

There's not much hype behind either to be honest. But Khan is clearly the much bigger name. Much much bigger.

I don't know how things are in the UK but I am guessing Khan is a bigger star. Brook seems like the more dependable fighter since he has never lost and never been knocked down. I read Brook is fighting a Mexican that boxrec ranks 33rd in the world. Brook needs to start fighting top 10 welterweights. Still if they fought I think Brook would probably win by KO. Khan could make his biggest payday fighting Brook but he always gives BS reasons why he won't fight Brook. I think Khan or somebody on his team is afraid of Khan losing to Brook.

Khans certainly better known because of the Olympics and starting his career on ITV instead of SKY, people knowing him doesn't mean they like him though

Tell us USA fans who has bigger hype over there in the UK. Khan, and it isn't even close...

Khan... His Olympic success is one great achievement... 17 years old. Made him a star overnight.

Khan is a bigger name and more well known but UK public's faith in him is waning. Brook is getting better known and there is a feeling amongst the more knowledgeable boxing fans that he would beat Khan. But there is no question Khan is a bigger name but Brook is getting better known.

Everyone knows Khan (everyone), only boxing fans know Brook

Yep, Khan was fighting on primetime Saturday night terrestrial TV in his early career and then went to Sky Box Office (PPV), his first fight on PPV was against Prescott where he got flattened. It was the best £15 I've ever spent.

Edit My mum knows who Khan is and she can only name 4 other boxers Tyson, Ali Hatton and Naz If i asked her who is Brook, she would say do you mean Brookside ?
