anthony dirrell? jean pascal at lhw?
everyone else is either tied up or already beaten.
pretty lacklustre options for the pound-for-pound #2.
he might be able to get kovalev or stevenson in the ring after their next fights, but wouldn't hbo and us fans prefer if they fought each other first? and does andre even want to move up to 175 lbs? seems like he's more concerned with middleweight at the moment...
Ward does not need to fight ever again.
Any fighter in a weight class below is a force-fed hypejob. Any fighter in a weight-class above needs to come down in weight if they ever so dare challenge Ward.
He will fight Kashtonov next to keep his grueling streak alive. It will be staged in jOakland and shown on tapedelay on ESPN3.
HBO would glady broadcast a fight like that and would pay him handsomely. Why the f*ck should they not? It's Andre Ward; they should be so lucky to have him on their network
he already turned down stevenson and would never go near kovalev. he's more concerned with chavez and golovking. he's a fraud. i hope boxing black-lists him so our eyes don't have to suffer anymore.
I agree ! he runs and head butts what is so talented about that
Ward won the Super Six as recent as 2011.
He deserves a rest. He's done nothing of note since 2011 but that's ok, he won the Super Six.
Ward should be P4P #1. He won the Super Six!!
Co-sign, co-f*ckin-sign!
He beat Froch, Abraham, Kessler and Green; if he doesn't do anything else in his career, it doesn't matter - this is HOF and GOAT material hands down
Lol I love sarcasm.
I would like to see Ward fight Pascal next. Then fight the Stevenson/Kovalev winner after. If they don't fight each other, he should take on Stevenson then Kovalev.
If Ward is content on staying at 168 (which seems to be the case, at least for 2014), it doesn't matter who he fights in the summer. No one available at that time would be intriguing to me but I would like to see him face the Froch/Groves winner at the end of 2014 though. An option for the summer would be Degale but that doesn't excite me much. It seems that Chavez and Golovkin don't want to fight Ward this summer.

I wish I could come back with something, but my replies to these posts have grown as sparse as Ward fighting.

Why da **** are we even asking this question? Ward fought just recently (November of last year) and he regularly commentates on HBO. The guy needs, and deserves, a rest FFS. If Andre Ward fights once in 2014 that would almost be too much. Plus, who's out there for him to fight? There's no one out there right now that is even remotely worthy of sharing the same ring with him.
Is he going to fight in the first half of 2014? Is he going to fight in 2014 at all?
Probably late again....still suing Goosen. Doesn't really have a case since he willingly signed an extension.
andre or anthony? i also believed that andre dirrell would be tricky for ward, but he seems to have quit boxing. anthony doesn't seem like that exciting an opponent, although probably the best super middleweight available to ward right now.
*edit* the best super middleweight that ward hasn't already beat, i should say. i'm not really interested in abraham or bika rematches.
Andre. Anthony wouldn't stand a chance.
Are you sure Andre quit? Considering how much talent he has, that would be a great shame.
