The guy beats a game, but struggling world champ by 4 points, whom is shopworn and had a broken jaw in his last fight, and was losing his fight before until the guy gassed.
Crawford wins a boring decision and everyones making out hes some kind of atg.
Its typical of yank fighters being elevated and overated.
I wont be surprised that within a year hes higher up than wlad, Sergey and GG on the ring P4P rankings...
Lol if anything the American fighters are always disrespected by the dumb casual tard fans.....With foreign guys like Matthyse, Lomachenko and past fighters like Kostya being constantly overrated by the idiot casual fans.
The American fighters are often very disrespected.....I've said it from the beginning if GGG was American or boring in Mexico/Puerto Rico etc he wouldn't be getting even 1/2 the hype he is getting now from the casual idiots.

I wont be surprised that within a year hes higher up than wlad, Sergey and GG on the ring P4P rankings...The Ring is owned by Oscar the promoter for a big conflict of interest when it comes to rating fighters. They had Broner #5 pfp. Crawford will never be the equal of GGG or even close. He is a good young fighter but not a superstar.
Ggg and kovalev have better fighters they can fight than Crawford (GGG could have Sergio, Quillin, Canelo, Lara, Ward, Chavez Jr) though Kovalev only has Stevenson and potentially Ward... They're also very fan friendly Crawford could end up being underrated for much of his career...
I watch boxing matches globally just from perception on skill, it's pretty clear that countries in the Americas have more skill. The top legends in the sports are Americans and more times than not when Americans or Mexicans go over seas they win titles and bring them back. History tells this as well..
You havnt had a heavy weight champ since 1996. Keep dreaming mate...
depends on who lands the big fights...
I think in the near future all 3 will have gotten on the p4p list...
If crawford can land and win fights vs vaquez, abril, juan diaz, mikey, gamboa, and maybe ruslan or jmm at 140, then he is def a p4p guy
but kovolev could beat stevenson, hopkins, ward
and ggg could have wins vs murray, geale, serg, chavez jr,
All have some big fights if they can land them...
I think kovolev or GGG will appear on a p4p list, since they are closer to landing big marquee fights, while crawford is probably at least a year or 2 away

I do agree that there is a bias in the P4P rankings towards American fighters, it's been the case for as long as I've watched boxing and with the recent acquisition of The Ring by GBP, things have become even more biased.
Having said that, Crawford showed a lot of heart, determination and hunger last night, he wasn't necessarily the better fighter but he was the one more willing to win. A rematch would be interesting, just to see how Ricky copes.
I kind of understand what you are saying, but we are on an American boxing website and to be honest America still dominates boxing in terms of coverage/media/websites etc so yes more American fighters would get on the list without having to do too much, like someone else said Bradley shouldn't be higher than Froch based on resume but P4P list isn't based on resume as far as I know.
Crawford nowhere near wladimor klitscko, sergey kovalaev , froch and GG level. But I bet because of the red and white flag hes just behind the joke Timothy Bradley...
No-ones ranking Crawford p4p, but due to the abundance of talent at 135-147 and his skills, he can rack up a resume that will get him there.
You can make a case for that 'joke' Bradley having a better resume than all guys you listed.
Burns is a struggling world champ. I like the guy, but he had a potential career ending fight last time and the fight before he was losing quite badly until the guys legs went.

Don't be a hypocrite. You're doing the same thing your complaining about. How is Kovalev and GGG ranked with Wlad and Froch? Burns> Macklin> And Cleverly is pure trash. So Europeans can beat bums and be praised? But the black guy beats a decent champ and should get no praise.
Ps. Bradley is ranked higher than that joke Froch.
you could've stopped after the part in bold and saved us all the crying.:lol1:

Well at 135 - 147 you have better name for Crawford to go over , GGG just need to beat Martinez (if he can get that fight) to get on the list as for Sergey what win at 175 get him in the list?

I agree, he will end up being higher than the two other guys you named because he is American. He was just born in the right country :boxing:
