You can't compare them right now. Verdejo is a 20 year old puppy, starting to mature as a boxer and physically. Verdejo will allways be two or three divisions higher than Loma so they'll never fight.
As a Pro I sure Verdejo will have a much better career though.
I believe Lomo would easily beat Verdejo, possibly by KO. Felix is a nice prospect, who's being brough up real slow. Vasyl is a guy they had enough faith in to pit against a world champ straight out of the gate. He didn't do badly in defeat. No triangle theory here; Verdejo would get smashed against that kind of comp.
I say Verdejo wins. These two have fought before in the amateurs. In fact, Verdejo's only loss ever came as an amateur and was to Lomachenko. It wasn't a significant victory nor stoppage. Verdejo, while not having fought any major opponents has handled his business like no other thus far. I would rather go with a guy who has a handful of 20 something second knockouts against tin-cans than a guy who loses to an experienced opponent.
Lomachenko owns Verdejo. He would kill him. Who has Verdejo fought? Lol. Loma did good against a seasoned vet.
Most likely scenario. Obviously Verdejo has looked more impressive but he's fought your Typical bums which is ok and what most prospects do. Lomachenko is still the more skilled fighter.
What's up with posters making threads like 'A fighter vs B fighter' when they themselves don't care to address the subject that they bought up? :hijacked:
