One thing Maidana has going for him in this fight

Agree with you. I always see these comparisons of Maidana to Guerrerp and Canelo and it makes me shake my head. Maidana is a bad motherfuccer who has BALLS (canelo) and is not just showing up for a paycheck (Guerrero) Maidana has a good jab and tremendous power, this isn't really the fight I want, but this is a little different then the past couple fights Maidana has a BIG punchers chance against any opponent. Like I said this isn't my ideal fight but people should just brush Maidana aside, we're not talking about pus$y boy guerrero

I can't argue against that. Motivation is a powerful tool. I agree....I think the corner of Canelo let him down. I was reading another topic about Canelo and a somebody mentioned that he just didn't go all out when it came to it as a last resort. I really don't think Maidana will have that issue. To me, it doesn't really matter what Floyd or Maidana has done before this. I'm giving Maidana a clean slate. He's coming off a major win, and he is definitley going to be in a different mind set when he fights Floyd.

I have to agree. Robert seems to be able to tap into a fighters desire to win imo. Maidana is a fighter at heart. That combined with Garcia is a lot more than other fighters have had going into a fight with Floyd. I wish him good luck. I agree. And completely unrelated, for conversations sake I think that, that is what hurt Canelo the most. His corner, lack of motivation. Not saying that is why he lost because he was completely out gunned but his corner failed him imo.
