What next or Khan

Now that Mayweather is fighting Maidana Khan has been left looking a bit silly having put all his eggs in one basket. IMO he should have fought Alexander a fight I felt he had a great chance of winning where he could have picked up a title. But he elected not to take it much like Bradley did when he turned Khan down to land a mega fight with Manny. The only diffrence is Bradley landed his payday fight and Khan is now left in the cold. Khan's recent run has not been impressive with loses to Peterson then Garcia then unimpressive wins over Mlna and Diaz. Clearly he can no longer just sit back and hope and wait for a Mayweather fight. So what does he do next tread water and fight another Molina/Diaz or step up and fight a Porter type fighter? What do you see him doing?

My feeling is that Khan will be put in with someone between Molina and Diaz standard wise. He did not look good last time out and he has been inactive so I just don't see team Khan wanting to take a risky fight like Porter. I think the gameplan is to take the minimum risk while there is a chance of getting Mayweather after the Maidana fight. There are plenty of great fights out there for him,a Garcia rematch,Porter,Brook and Broner but if he loses them it is say bye bye to Mayweather and I just don't see Team Khan wanting to take the risk. Khan is in a difficult situation right now,does he tread water or step up? He must regret not taking the Alexander fight. can see hanging around for Mayweather being the ruin of his career.

I know most are reveling in this whole Khan fail but I really feel for the guy. Yes he needs to partly blame himself, sure, but the guy was strung along for months and to have the biggest payday of your career pulled from you in the same exact way Lucy pulls the ball away from Charlie Brown...I mean that's gotta suck. Bad. And although just about nobody on the planet would have given him a chance -- I really think Khan strongly believed that he could have posed some problems for Floyd, and that even a really good showing in a loss could have really upped his stock again and made up for the KO losses & KDs that have marred his career. What a bitter pill to swallow.

Center - Carson, CA Amir Khan vs. Robert Guerrero Takashi Miura vs. Abner Mares Yoandris Salinas vs. Cesar Seda I think it would sell-out and it's a winnable fight for both fighters in the main event, plus if Amir Khan can KO Robert Guerrero, I believe that would put him in the driver seat coming September. No Showtime on the 26th
