How about Khan vs Guerrero at 147???

Not bad but I'd rather see Khan-Porter to be honest. I think that's a very good fight. I will take Khan against anyone in the Top 10 though to be honest (Other than Pauli but that won't happen anyway. Broner, Thurman, Guererro, Porter, even Alexander like purposed. Any of those will do. I'd like to see him fight porter, the guy who has the belt he could've won if he wasn't a diva. Though I think porter smothers him and Khans lack of inside game shows badly. Edit: Plus if Khan somehow wins, he has a belt....Could go to unify more belts if May beats Maidana.

They are going from almost getting the Floyd fight for Khan to testing the WW with some low level WW. Khan is a win away of getting a September date against Floyd

So I don't really see much of a difference. At least Senchenkho was a champion. Guerrero also only has one win over a ranked fighter? Brook also has Hatton, Senchenko, Lovemore N'Dou and Saldivia for a #1 contender spot. He is, but he's still beaten soto-karass, Chavez and Zavic - better than or equal to anything RG has done at WW. Khan/RG is a pretty good fight. Interesting match up. Hard to see Khan taking it, though. He's the better boxer but as said in this thread, he'd have to ride that bike for the full 12. At some point I think Guerrero gets to him, bullies him, and ultimately probably stops him.

Also, I think Brook ranks higher too based on him being a career WW with more wins than Guerrero. I don't think Devon or Thurman is arguable at all. Devon beat Maidana with ease. Might as well end the discussion here because it won't happen. Khan is a cashcow and he won't fight some schmoe who doesn't bring anything to the table for him. He was this close to landing the biggest fight in the sport. Not even being a world champion is enough to secure that, so if anything khan fighting a regular belt holder is a step down, and you want him to take two steps down and fight a guy who's been out in the wilderness after coming off a loss? Khan will only fight in a world title fight. If Khan fought Guerrero and beat him, he would not only gain a significant ranking but also measure himself against a recent Mayweather opponent. The fight makes sense.
