How more well received will a card With broner , khan and possibly the likes of matyheese and garcia be ? On a region level could signing these fights boost an extra 300k buys ?with 18 mill to go around two four others ? The biggest aspect of this event is it's so soon ? Come on now. Are we still pretending that the bulk of the ppv purchasers are buying the fight becaue of the undercard or the makeup of the entire card rather than the main event? If they put Mares return on the card, matts v thurman, and 1 more good fight that will make diehard fans and the "NSB crowd" more likely to purchase it given the belief the main will be a blowout win for floyd. But that surely wont mean another 300k in sales.

To be honest, I buy PPV cards mostly because of the main event. It feels like the main fight is truly what I pay for and look forward to. Undercards for me personally are just a bonus. After 1-2 fights I start getting a bit desperate for the main event to start. I believe two months are enough for these guys to get into shape. Matthysse has been training for about a month already. And I disagree with Broner being fat, he looks just like he does during his down time. He has a natural puffy face too and the beard doesn't help the cause. PS: RIP Gatti man. You must be watching Top Rank PPV's cause GBP puts on 4 good fights every time.

depends on your definition of "sell". Will it make money? Yes. Will it do Floyd/Canelo numbers? Likely no.

I'm hoping the pre main is Atleast some catch with likes of khan or broner or may these or thurman .. I forgot danny is fighting already. And yes long live gatti !! I do get your paint bro which is very valid and good. A good co-main event similar to Garcia-Matthysse would definitely boost the sales a bit and it would add value to the card as well. But I just feel like nowadays the two big names at the front of the poster end up being what you truly pay for since that is the product being marketed. I'd be fine with either... I'm a big fan of One Time and putting him in the co-main event against a credible opponent would be great because that could set up Mayweather-Thurman which I would LOVE to see.
