The Tase suggested such a poll/thread in another thread but hasn't posted one himself, so here it is
:lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1:
Maidana would murder that overrated pasty coke head.
lol at special body puncher lmfaaooo.
Shall we do a thread on the matter with a poll and see what everybody thinks?
yea he beat a past prime version of kostya and needed illegal tactics to do it allowed by crooked ass british referees.
again,
shall we do a prime hatton vs prime maidana poll?
So, what does everybody think?
I still don't get why people bring up Collazo as some slight against Hatton dude is a really good fighter and it was a very competitive fight people act like Collazo shat on Hatton's face.
It would be an all out war, It really depends who invests in the body more, or who lands that lucky shot. This version of Maidana has the defense, intelligence, and jab to keep himself at a favorable distance before lunging in with combinations of hooks and uppercuts. Hatton was a beast and could end it with one shot as well, it would be an exciting fight.
Mayweather himself didn't have an easy time keeping Hatton at a favorable distance when he opted to move, Hatton had exceptional foot speed, say what you may about him as a fighter but his foot speed was exceptional. His ability to fight on the inside while not great was a lot better than Maidana (Who needs room), his wrestling tactics, physicality would have been too much for Maidana who couldn't even handle Alexander in that department. I don't see the argument here, Maidana has stamina issues, is weak to the body, couldn't handle Alexander's wrestling tactics and I'm suppose to think he could have dealt with a prime Hatton? Don't think so.
I like Maidana, for some it seems like I'm coming off as a hater when I'm usually rooting for him, usually. People are starting to overrate him here, even being irrational enough to bring up Collazo's success against Hatton when Maidana doesn't even fight like Collazo.
Hatton comfortably imo. Unfortunately he is criminally underrated on here because he lost to two fighters who just happen to have the two most retarded fanbases in boxing.

I'm a Hitman fan but I find it very hard not to picture Maidana hurting Hatton and stopping him sometime around the 9th-10th round.
Same here.
What a lot of people don't realize is Maidana can hold his own on the inside and outside. Never been knocked out.

Maidana has a nice jab.. That would be a factor in stalling Hatton and disrupting his rhythm enough to land a sledgehammer shot in between clinches.
And inside... Devon blinded and stunned Maidana with fast combos at mid range, THEN clinched, which served to pacify Maidana. That's far different than someone clinching Maidana and proceeding to try to maul him to death. You think Maidana gonna let a guy maul him to death without scrapping back? Another thing, are we talking about the Maidana that fought Devon or the one that's obviously learned from the Devon debacle?
Morales?
I like Maidana's angles better. His range.. His power...his jab.... His head movement...and I have to give him benefit of the doubt on chin because Maidana has never been stopped and Hatton has... Three times.
Hatton does have nice foot speed and some decent hand speed though.. Good scrap but edge Maidana. Hatton finds some success in close with Maidana holding his own for the most part, but Maidana's range is the X factor and hattons foot speed actually works against him as he walks into a Maidana bomb.
Flawless post indeed.

Amazing what a win over Broner can do.
Tyszu may of been past prime but that win is probably greater than Maidana's whole resume. Hell his stoppage of a shopworn Castillo is a better win than Broner, Karass, Ortiz and the likes.
Maidana is Brandon Rios 2.0
He has finally learned how to slip a jab, tomorrow we'll be teaching him how to write his name.
xD hahahaha
I know you love to exaggerate but Maidana IS better than Rios.

I win the internet
I wanted to pick its a 50/50 fight but If I was to choose between the two I think Hatton at 147lbs is just a bit better than Maidana hence why he gets my vote.

Should've made this poll like a year or two earlier and Maidana wouldve had half of those votes. Crazy what one win does for you. Lol
