Anyone watch the Tommy Coyle fight?.

The stoppage might possibly have been premature but the ref was the one looking straight into Brizuela's eyes, therefore he had a better position to call it that anyone watching on tv. Besides Brizuela was lucky the ref didn't stop it from one of the other knockdowns where he was in really bad shape. It was also Brizuela's 4th knockdown from head punches.

brizuela was more hurt in the 11 than in the 12, didn't like the stoppage. fight was insane. i wasn't expecting a KO from neither of them, since they only have 15 KOs combined.

Just finished watching it and came in to say.....go watch the fight, really enjoyable. Shame about the stoppage, but worth the watch

Crazy fight, R11 was about as wild as you'll see. But sorry to have to say that was about as bad a stoppage as you'll ever see, utter trash.

Unbelievable fight. I don't remember the last time I saw a fight where both fighters were dropped 4 times a piece. Coyle was in some pain with those body punches too.

I went to bed thinking it was just some crappy exhibition fight to parade Coyle in front of his home town - saw twitter going mad about it and watched it this morning. God damn do I regret not watching it live! The knockdown in the 11th was crazy, I can only think of Maidana vs Ortiz where one guy gets up just to sit the other guy down with the next shot. Coyle's knockdown was much harder though, I thought he was finished at that point. Woodhouse winning the British title will stay in my mind for a long time as well, him and Dave Coldwell were going mental!

Yeah watched it. What an awesome fight. When Coyle got dropped for the 4th (?) time or the last time he got dropped I was convinced he was about to get stopped, then straight away he landed that huge right hand that dropped the guy I just could not believe it. Great fight, one of the best fights for a while in the UK. Every so often we get these gems. Great to see Woodhouse achieve his dream aswell. Great night.

What a fight :lol1:. Both guys down 4 times I think, lost track. 3 or 4 point deductions too :lol1:. Crazy stuff. The referee should have let the fight go on in the last round though. Highly recommend you download the fight when available in the video trading section. Daniel Brizuela was the opponent. Just watched it,sic fight!!!:boxing::boxing:
