This isn't a question about who deserves the fight more or whos style makes for a more competitive fight. Floyd Mayweather put up a worldwide, public poll on who he should fight next, love the opponent or not, Khan won by a pretty big margin in the end. If this fight doesn't happen, to those boxing fans in the know, it will look ridiculous. GBP/Show/TMT will end up with egg on their face.
That is all.

:crying::crying::crying::crying:
1. Khan lost every other major poll in America, the country that will be paying the most and buying the most ppv's.
2. Mayweather never said the winner of that specific poll would get the fight. He implied it, but never came out and said. He can easily spin it that he is letting the fans truly decide by using the results of other polls as well.
3. Who cares about the poll anyways? The only people crying about it are people who hate Floyd and are Brits. Floyd would wind up with way more egg on his face for choosing Khan anyways, just look at the complete blow back he got when Khan was floated out there. The vast majority of America doesn't want the fight and let him know that.
Now, I know I didn't change your mind one bit so coming *****ing.
didnt they run polls on espn.com, *********, and other sites? which had maidana ahead?
Yep. Which added to the confusion. On Mayweather's official site though, Khan won. So now even Khan and Maidana aren't sure on if they will be chosen. Now it's up to Mayweather whether he goes by his official poll or the polls from ESPN and other sites.
