Can Canelo handle the constant pressure of Angulo?

We will find out but I have a feeling he won't have to as much as people think. The difference between Lara and Canelo, is that Lara was hitting Angulo but doing so backwards and not sitting on his shots because of the pressure. I think Canelo will be more bound to stand and trade because he's stronger than Lara and has power of his own. Angulo won't just be able to walk through Canelo like some think. He will feel Canelo's power and will think twice before walking in.

Angulo ain't that much bigger and to pressure effectively especially without a defense usually one has to be the much bigger guy, size are similar and Angulo ain't difficult to hit. Don't see how Canelo struggles here, I'm expecting vintage Canelo with the combinations.

I think Canelo is like a 5:1 favorite. I'm seeing this fight live in Vegas and if the odds don't change too much I'll be putting $200 on Angulo:boxing:

You never know. He might be able to, but I have Angulo willing based on the pressure.

Kirkland had to spend half a fight hitting Angulo with a ridiculous amount of punches to stop him. Alvarez doesn't throw as much or as hard, nor anything like the same style. We'll see, but I have a hard time believing Angulo gets stopped early unless his punch resistance is gone. Kirkland Straight left to the body was taking it out of Angulo. You are correct, totally different styles.

Angulo's best chance is to do what margarito did in the first Cotto fight. If he can take Canelos leather then he will win. I don't trust Canelos stamina.

Tyner is a small Welterweight...I think this is the first time he fights a real JMW who can punch. The Tyner's, Matt Hattons and Jose cottos dont prep you for this.

He'll definitely be tested in this fight... I'll say that for sure. I think the Tyner fight, Tyner kept pushing him back... but ANgulo is a different fight altogether.

I don't think Canelo has what it takes to pull this off. Canelo doesn't have the tools to beat Angulo imo. We will see. If Canelo pulls it off more power to him. prove a doubter wrong...But I think this is when fighting cans that he did will hurt him. Those fights are supposed to prep you for fights like this. I don't think he is prepared.

canelo will have a counter punching fest, he wont be chasing angulo and that will make it easier on him..

the problem with canelo is that he's not consistent on throwing punches in bunches. his stamina needs to improved to be able to mix it up with angulo. if he wins by knockout, i'd say he pretty much up there
