1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
2. Andre Ward
3. Timothy Bradley
4. Wladimir Klitschko
5. Sergio Martinez
6. Juan Manuel Marquez
7. Manny Pacquiao
8. Guillermo Rigondeaux
9. Miguel Angel Garcia

Funny how #1 & 2 from then is almost the same from today (PBF & Andre Ward).
None of them is better than Rigondeaux. ;)
Rigo is as good as they come...but a no way his style beats a prime RJJ...too much offense from RJJ...now a prime Sweet Pea and Rigondeaux would be a chess match of the highest order
The 90's IMO was boxing last great era. No disrespect to today's fighter's, but back then the best fought the best, they were willing to fight anyone anytime to prove they were the best & there wasn't as much of the silly beefs/wars ect BS to deal with & fighters couldn't hide behind a network, promoter or anything. Back then the top fightes all had loses & people still wanted to see them more because they put it all on the line. Now if you lose or get a draw everyone is quick to call them bums or exposed... When in reality we should give credit for them testing them selves. Also ducking is ALLOT more accepted & defended today.
Riddick Bowe was frozen out of the HW title after his loss to holyfield...RJJ ever fought Nigel Benn or rematched JT...Bob Arum and DonKing prevented a lot of good fights, though they finally had to make some happen due to poor PPV sales
None of them is better than Rigondeaux. ;)
Finally someone who knows something about boxing, james toney and jcc would have never been on the level of rigondeaux, the man is a pure strategist and a master of the sweet science and anybody that doesnt think so is truly ignrant when it comes to boxing!!!
"Now if you lose or get a draw everyone is quick to call them bums or exposed..."
Agree
"Also ducking is ALLOT more accepted & defended today."
HELL NO !!
To me it's not & I don't defend it, but you do have fans that do & also some fighters try to justify it & some how still get praised when they do.

Sweet Pea, James Toney, JCC and Roy Jones Jr from 1994 are better than any of the current top ten P4P list.

The farther you go back, the more rich the sport, we are far from the golden age of boxing. Those who praise todays current fighters as if they are the greatest the sport have ever seen, haven't seen much of the sport at all.
