Pacquiao's situation is much different than most fighters. Floyd and Cotto have boxing income and that's about it. They have to maximize it now as they are at the end of their careers. Pacquiao will be President of the Phillipines in the next decade. He will have the political connections to never really go broke. He doesn't need to break ties with Arum and be a free agent, he doesn't need the headaches as he is already set up well beyond boxing.

Yea Manny is definetly resigning like an idiot/puppet. but when you think of it, if its for $75 mill who wouldnt lmfao! I just wish he would call Floyd on his bluff, to leave bob arum in 2015 though he could make much more than that if he fought floyd plus GBP welterweights as a free agent. pac is an idiot though, i full expect him to extend his contract. remember, bob "promised" him the mayweather fight. :lol1:

Sounds like he's gonna extend. They said, "at this time". Hopefully he doesn't, but 75 mil is no joke.

This^^^ I don't care what the hell Manny does, even breaking ties with TR. Fraud will find any way possible to avoid the fight unless he could legitimately handicap Pacquiao out the gate to get a fight advantage. He wants zero chance of taking a loss to his rival.
