Did Pac duck Shane in 09?

Dude Pac wasnt even a welter. He was coming up in weight to his 7th division, and picked elite welter Cotto instead, a lot better than picking Sharmba Mitchell going up to your 4th division See look here people... more excuses. Floyd hand picks his opponents but when Manny does it he gets a pass. Manny and Floyd were the same damn size at 147. They have always been the same size at WW. When you fight at 147 and you are making a name for yourself and you have the hype behind you then you prove your worth. Make more excuses though. Both Manny and Floyd's resume at 147 isn't sh*t. Out of both of them the best name at 147 is Floyd's win over Mosley because of how highly Mosley was considered at that time. Roach is the best tool to use in this argument because Roach likes to run his mouth and sh*t on his own fighters achievements without even realizing that hes doing it.

He said he was going to retire after de la hoya but fought Hatton, but then did retire for a while until he got in trouble with the IRS then came back and fought Marquez in what was supposed to be a tune up for Pac in 2009 but that fell through so he took the next toughest fight in Shane. After that, neither Pac nor Floyd or their camps entered into serious negotiations again until Floyd offered Manny 40 million over the phone. I think Pac and Arum ducked the first negotiations and I think they've all been guilty of the fight not happening since. Arum should let Pac out of his contract for one fight so Manny and Floyd can do what Floyd and Cotto did. I have no doubt the fight would happen if Arum wasn't involved. yes the negotiations conducted over the phone between studdering floyd mayweather and a guy who can barely speak english were very serious. i mean the contracts were virtually signed.

Does there need to be a feud for a promoter to pick his fighters that are equally capable opponent since he beat Mosley and who had a title and it was Manny's first true test against a WW? I wouldnt say Pac so much as his team did. Lets be real... If you manage/promote a slightly smaller come forward fighter do you put him in against someone who just obliterated the perceived terminator? Hell no they dont. Cotto and Shane were about even in terms of name people saying Cotto was a "much better option" are delusional. Mosley was indisputably the man at 147 at the time. He looked so good people wanted him to fight Floyd. You know someone looks good when they want him to cause that kind of harm to mayweather lol. Anyway, Cotto was a good fight (catchweight but ehh... Pac had better opportunities at the time and when shane finally got his chance to fight pac look what happened. After he got knocked down he ran away from pac for the rest of the fight
