Its a build up to golovkin amd kirkland thats why they putting both on the same card. Kirklands last fight was a tko victory against glenn tapia n Garcia's last win was yhis paat friday aganst Norberto GonAlez who just upset undefeates michael oliveria
who the hell is Roberto Garcia, Kirkland should be facing GGG NOW!
Kirkland is not a middleweight though and Garcia is the guy who got outclassed by Margarito in a tune up fight.
That would be a good fight to. How do ya see Garcia Kirkland ?
I don't know... but I can say this much... this ain't going the distance. From what I've seen from Garcia, he's a come forward fighter who'll push the pace and Kirkland....we all know Kirkland. This'll be an exciting fight
Want to hear something trippy? The first result on boxrec for Roberto Garcia is a totally different Roberto Garcia who fought Corrales and Casamayor with the same exact 34-3 record When I was looking at his page I'm saying to myself, wait this guy hasn't fought in thirteen years lmao!
Yea, he's training Mikey Garcia, Maidana and those Oxnard guys now

Hes trying to get a fight with Golovkin thats why HBO is putting them together on same card
Ehhhh.... would be cool if they put him in there with Stevens.... Stevens pretty flexible though because he has the NBC card in March or the HBO with Kovalev in late March.
Tapia was completely out gunned in that fight ..... from what ive seen from Garcia i dont think he lacks the power to hurt Kirkland. This will be one of those fights i will for sure try to see ...LIVE ACTION !!!
:(
Tapia lives a town over from me. I was rooting for him.
I'm still butt hurt :lol1: no idea what the hell they were thinking putting him in there with Kirkland for his first step up in competition.
They thought the can catch him off step. Had that long layoff
Good scrap, Garcia is a tough SOB, i think it's safe to say that he'll do better than Tapia :lol1:

I was in the gym yesterday afternoon and ppl where talking about that Garcia got the call but the only problem is the weight issue Kirklank wants the fight at 159 n Garcia wants it at 154. Ill go snoop aroumd again today and talk to Eric Brown
So Kirkland testing middleweight huh?
Garcia ain't gonna box, he goin straight into it. Round of the year potential here
Best way, If he catches the glass on Kirks chin he has a good a chance to win the fight as any fighter (Ishida wasn't a big puncher).
wheres the source.......couldn't find it anywhere.

Garcia is the same guy who said Kirk hits harder than GGG. He knows from sparring both GGG and Kirkland.
In the interview, Garcia respected Kirk a lot and spoke very greatly about Kirk's abilities.
