Remember when Froch said Khan should consider retiring after the Prescott loss?
Well here we are 6 years later. Khan has done less than d*ck since 2011, is draining crappy welterweights (Diaz, Senchecnko), getting knocked down by drained crappy welterweights, looking pedestrian against pedestrian fighters (Molina), got his butt kicked by Garcia, and now making every excuse in the book why he has a shaky chin (making weight, other fighter resumes).
If he lands the Floyd fight, that alone will be his greatest achievement in the last 3 years. Forget the actual fight in which he will get embarrassed.
He is a fun action fighter with skill but perhaps he isnt as good as he thinks he is. Khan needs to embrace that role and find a nice spot for himself.
when did Khan fight Senchescko?
He didnt and I never said he did...When Khan was trying to tiptoe into welterweight because he wasnt man enough to fight in it (depsite his bogus #2 WBC ranking) he tried to get senchenko, and diaz, down to 143. When senchenko said no, Khan made it seem like senchenko didnt want to fight.
It shows that Khan is not right in the head and thinks he is better than he really is.
Khan isnt some c-level bum, but he isnt a star nor as skilled as his trashy poser fans think he is. They wont accept what he is and think getting a fight with Floyd somehow validates his ability. All getting this fight shows is that Floyd wants an easy fight he can make money on.
Kahn is a mark. nothing more.
When did he fight, let alone drain, Senchenko?
Bingo I was thinking the same. I guess he's referring to the negotiations with senchenko where he wanted to meet at a catch-weight. But at the end of the day it didn't happen so he didn't drain him.
Speaking about Froch and Khan, we should also speak about irony
Before the Garcia fight Froch's advice to Khan was to take Garcia seriously because "he is an undefeated champion." He should have done the same with Groves!
Although he hasn't lived up to his full potential, Khan hasn't done too bad for himself following the Prescott loss.
And I'll keep saying it, he was schooling Danny Garcia & you know his story.
Lol look thru Khans resume he doesnt have a solid win against a top contender lol
He gots fast hands, n fast combos thats it
His resume is a joke just like his chin
I'm sure he beat Maidana?

If Khan was half as good as he says he is he would still be twice as good as he really is. There is a reason Khan never fought rematches with the men who beat him. He is not sure he can beat them. Prescott has wanted to rematch Khan any time any place for even a small amount of money. I would respect Khan more if he just tried to beat Prescott win lose or draw. Khan had a good run when he beat Judah, Paulie and Maidana. Then loses to Peterson and especially the loss to Garcia seemed to ruin him. I think the Mayweather beating he is going to get will finish him off and Khan will never be a champion again.
Khan has been counted out before only to return
His heart and confidence and tenacity in the ring is second to none
While he'll never be the complete fighter, he can cause fits for Floyd, only if he fights the fight of his life

larry, even being a floyd fan, you gotta admit the khan fight sucks right?
i am just saying if you are going to trash the man then damn get your facts straight!!!

Are you trolling or just spasticated? The guy was a unified champion at 140lbs.

It was the best decision he ever made, since then he has wins over Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah, that is nothing to s****** it, in my personal opinion he also beat Peterson, but I accept it could have gone either way, he has a couple of Foty candidates in there, so he has been entertaining for the fans. He has also made a lot of money in that time but I don't think that is the only reason he is in the game. He was wealthy from early on in his pro career, yet he has shown incredible heart and aptitude for taking punishment, even in the losses he was still trying to carry on after knock downs.
To be honest I think your theory is unfounded and is based on little to no facts. His career is indeed at a crossroads right now, but he has had a good career thus far so let's see if he can bounce back.
I'm sure if he was only in it for the money he would have stayed at home and carried on fighting in the UK, he may not have made quite the same amount of money per fight, but he would have certainly made 7 figure pay days whilst taking an easier path.
