I see some people are trying to convince themselves that Bradley will simply outbox Pacquiao to a decision. Why is it that Pac's boxing ability always seems to be the most underrated/overlooked aspect in his game?
Especially since he already gave the supposed better boxer Tim a boxing lesson in the first fight. Don't get me wrong, Pac turning up the heat and fighting Tim would be ideal if he wants to win the rematch more convincingly but Pac is also capable of outboxing him as well. People seem to forget that he's a pretty skilled boxer himself.
Bump. I still find it fascinating how people back then saw Pac's boxing skills as lacking, completely ignoring the subtle things he does such as feints, angles, and setting up traps. There were even some people that said that he didn't have that ability to counter punch as well. Crazy to see how things change over time.
It’s been a couple years but I think this should be brought up. I still remembered when people sh@t on Pac’s skills back then, saying that he was not a skilled fighter and that he only fought a one dimensional style and only looked good against brawlers.
I think it’s time to admit that Pac has always been a skillful fighter and a great boxer. Probably not technical in the traditional way but still skilled in his own unique style.
Those shots eventually get you though. Even the guys with the best chins eventually fall if hit enough
Yea well that aint why Juan dropped him. Juan simply turned into a big puncher overnight. He KO'd a ww like it was nothing. Everyone here even talked about how buff he had gotten before the fight.
Find a post where I said it was "good" to fight Canelo at 152? He should've fought him at the full 154 lb limit and we could've avoided people like you having something to say about it. Even though you haters still would've found some way to discredit it. But, if u are comparing Manny's win against 145 Oscar to Floyd's win against 152 Canleo, then I will say it for the 3rd time.....YDKSAB!
Fake retirement? Floyd had fought at a high level for most of his life, I don't think he had the desire anymore and it was time to step away for a while and see if it returned. Haters like you continue to spew that "ducked" nonsense when the facts say something different. ARUM HIMSELF said that Floyd was willing to fight Cotto and Margarito if the offer was right...It wasn't! Cotto's didn't want the fight at 140 and since has said that he was NEVER OFFERED THE FIGHT AND NEVER ASKED FOR THE FIGHT! Mosley declined the fight with Mayweather not once, but 2x! So, again, how did he "duck" them. The hate is strong with you. You even feel the need to lie just to make Floyd look bad.
Isn't it funny that, that same "Oldsley" that Floyd fought, Pac wanted nothing to do with??
Why you gotta bring up facts like that Mega? Leave Mr. "i well fight anyone anywhere any time" . . . . . . . . "But es up to ma promotha Bab Arom" alone
Pac's shot until proven otherwise
outboxing Rios wasn't the proving ground to show he's "back"
it's natural for people to doubt Pac's skills now
that and his legs, stamina, chin, speed, and everything else
Winning every round against Rios is not exactly prime evidence of Pacquiao being "shot". "Shot" is a strong word. Pacquiao may be at 70% compared to his prime but that's still 70% of an elite, top-tier fighter.
Oh god you're such a crying cunt.
Floyd fought Canelo at a CW. Fruad even went against his prior statements about catch weights !
"Don't put words in mah mouf" :pat:
Key words are that Floyd fought him, even at a catchweight. Pac needed to wait until Oldsley lost and drew with a journeyman to dared fight him.
Pacquiao's own trainer said that "Oldsley" was too good for Pacquiao :lol1:
Floyd himself said Manny was too good for him. "He has to be on something, there is no way he can be that good, hes doing things nobody has ever done before".
Yeah so they asked for a catchweights and still ducked him when they thought he was a threat

Oscar fought at 150 before the Pac fight at welterweight < Floyd a 2x champ at 154 can't fight Canelo there without weight draining him after he said to everybody he will never weight drain his opponent. So Pac fighting a weight drained Oscar was bad but when he weight drained Canelo was good. LMAO!

Floyd faked his retirement than fighting a young prime Cotto and Mosley while ducking Margarito at the same time like a plague. A decade later you are so proud Floyd finally beat Oldsley and Cotton.:pat:

Pac skills as a boxer is not the best and his foot work is really bad. He can only dash forward fast and once his athletic ability is gone expect Pac to become a punching
This is just wrong. His boxing skill is excellent, as is his footwork. When you try to punch someone dashing forward is all you can really do if your a human being.
Are you saying he looks clumsy chasing his opponents around the ring or something? Well youre footwork isn't going to look that good. Can you imagaine Floyd trying to chase and attack people around the ring and look how ridiculous his footwork would look like?
You proved just what a Pac dlckrider you are with the first line comparing the still relevant 154 lb Oscar that Floyd fought to the drained 145lb corpse that Pac fought. Please get outta here with that! 7-3 or 8-4 is "almost beat"...I repeat....YDKSAB!!!! Pac jumped 3 weight divisons in name only. He had been weighing in as a full welterweight for years before he fought ODH..so there goes another fail! All Manny proved in that fight was that its not very difficult to outbox a drained corpse.
He did better against Mosely? The guy who made him look like an amateur at times? Who he couldn't even cut off the ring against? Ok? Hatton? The guy who Floyd had KO'd and was never the same? Got it! Cotto? I'm sure he did look better. He fought him after he lost his confidence from the Margarito fight and looked terrible in subsequent fights. Roach even admitted he wasn't the same and yet they STILL needed a catch weight!! After the 2nd Margarito fight, Cotto had his confidence back(which he even said himself) and he was at a comfortable weight. That is why they ducked the 154 Cotto that Floyd fought! By the way, did you see what Pac looked like after fighting a catch weight Cotto and what Floyd looked like fighting Cotto at a comforable weight? I rest my case! Never said that Floyd is a boxing God, but even the most ardent Pac fans don't(or at least most of them) don't ever think that Pac out boxes Floyd!

Pac and Floyd were boxing Oscar ears off. The difference is Floyd just barely won a SD and ducked the rematch at all cost because shot past prime Oscar almost beat his ass while a former flyweight champ Pac who jumped 3 weight divisions to fight Oscar at welterweight showed a master class boxing lesson, gave Oscar the worst beating of his life, made him quit and retired him for good. So much for your boy a much better boxer than Pac not to mention he did much better against Mosley, Cotto and Hatton as well. Floyd boxing god my ass.

So he didn't miss A LOT of punches in the video??
I think just fine thanks, I am just not sucking on Pacs knob unlike people like you. You take a video with highlights of PACS WORK in the fight to prove what a wonderful boxer he is and I am the the idiot?? Seems YDKSAB! As a boxer Pac a just pretty good, what makes him great is not his boxing, but his speed, power and awkwardness. If Pac was such a wonderful boxer, why after the first round was he raped by Marquez in the first fight? If he is such a great boxer, why hasn't he faced more "boxers" in his career, rather than come forward fighters? I wonder what you will say if/when Tim(with out 2 messed up legs) gives Pac a boxing lesson in the rematch.

Well the point is to land more and harder than than your opponent and PAC more than did both but of course recognizing that doesn't fit your agenda hence your stupid post
I recognize that a video that is edited to show that will show exactly that. I also recognize that even edited for that reason, Pac still missed A LOT of punches. I guess me telling the truth doesn't fit your agenda either, hence YOUR stupid post!
This is what you get when a floydiot watched (or they did?) a particular fight and has an agenda. They can't think straight and their opinion about the fight they just watched was actually different from the actual fight. They are shameless on what they say and always ready to twist any facts even though they are looking like an idiot in doing so.

All that video did for me was remind me again of just how many punches Pacquiao missed or were just grazing blows.

Don't worry. This video says it all.
A thing of beauty. Thats what I call mad skills. Anyone sees otherwise is either blind or hating bad lol
Marvelous. Atg fighter.
