Kovalov vs Stevenson: A fight that could go either way!

Just some statistics of both fighters. All boxing fans should look forward to the possibility of this fight! I do believe that it is a much closer fight than some want to accept. I can definitely see Stevenson avoiding much of Kovalev's power punches and deliver a big one shot punch that can flatten or daze Kovalev and Stevenson can finish. I think as of right now I'll have to go with Stevenson but we'll see how they both perform in their next fight before the face each other.

From what I have seen of Kovalev though I do favor him in the power; he is very sloppy and their is a good chance Kovalev could gas pushing for a KO. Stevenson is a slick southpaw and has a much more balanced boxing skill. If Kovalev does win by KO it will be early and if it doesn't look for a late KO/TKO by Stevenson.

When there is that much power in the ring, sometimes it is just a matter of who gets hit first and recovering powers. This is not a good fight to bet one because of that. But that makes it exciting while it lasts and it wont last.

I think Stevenson will come in like Bellew did against himself, and fight scared, the russian will capitalize on that and a KO could be in the bag

I truly believe that Kovalev is getting a lot of hype from the power he has but his technique is below average. Stevenson on the other hand has shown me good technique with above average speed for light-heavy. If stevenson fights smart, he could shut Kovalev out and end it with a late KO/TKO
