..GGG is just tall and slow pacman can beat this guy like he did to margarito.
pacman is good if his opponent is much taller and slower to him because he can connect his punches to much bigger targer
Maybe a prime Pac. I do agree that right now we don't have a full gauge on Golovkin due to his lack of true competition -- but the guy is a mack truck. Manny's too small. Yeah I know he has beaten much bigger men than himself but GGG is a different animal, and especially at this stage in his career.
Pac said after Margarito that he'd never return to 154 and that was years ago. GGG is a MW and should be fighting the Martinez's and Ward's of the world. Not tiny welters like MP. There's a reason that we have weight classes.
Golovkin is too big, too powerful, takes a punch. He is slow, looks lethargic and can get frustrated/pissed off with movement, maybe the perfect Manny Pacquiao can pull it off. He'll have to be perfect though, and Pac is not exactly the perfect fighter, his defense has always been questionable and smaller men have KO'ed him.

youre mixing up a punching bag with and actual fighter

given GGGs shall we say "modest" level of competition it's hard to get a true read on his skill level. However, judging strictly by the eye test, it would be hard to imagine Manny going 12 rds and not tasting GGGs power.
My guess is GGG puts Mannys lights out.
I would agree if GGG was a slow come forward bum, with no defense or skills, but he is very skill and punches like a Tyson. I reckon Pac can whoop GGG but a la margarito no way!!!
IF Pacquiao was a natural MW, I would honesty see him troubling Triple G with his slippery movement and shots coming from all angles. That's the only style that could stand a chance. The best defense against Golovkin is to throw and move but of course prepare yourself for the risk of getting caught... and you don't want that to happen against Golovkin.
