If he quits, then yes career getting big fights will be done,,, If he is just upset by collazo and loses on points, i think his ppv fights are done, but he can always fallback on the berto rematch, or even maidana rematch, or vs broner, ghost, etc.... Ortiz loses, he becomes a stepping stone, instead of a fighter to hype and build towards ppv fights with canelo or floyd

Beating Berto and fighting Floyd never meant that he was one of the top fighters out there. He has skills and punching power but never had a solid sustained winning streak. He will be another name to throw in there with up and coming fighters

Golden Boy has been all about putting on exciting fights lately regardless of if you have a losing streak or not and they have a bunch of fighters coming off losses they can match him up with who can make entertaining fights. If he loses tonight he can still go up against guys like Soto Karass, Zab Judah, or rematch Josesito Lopez and Berto. All those fighters vs Ortiz can get marketed as a Showtime main even despite how many losses they have and people would get excited about it.
