Mayweather vs Collazo would be an awesome fight - should've happened years ago. I doubt Mayweather would want the southpaw. Odds are greater we would see an Ortiz rematch in spite of the knockout before we would see May-Collazo.

wow.... its bs like this that make people believe Floyd is solo at the top, hyping up chumps like Ortiz just to say "they have a chance" smh either way, ortiz has to be done now... right>?? It was the right fight at that particular time. In hindsight of course. The hypejob Ortiz beat the hypejob/paper champ Berto who got a gift over Collazo and was never that good to begin with. But that's not the way it was looked at when the fight was signed.

I know you said he quit, but he did have a broken jaw and was spitting blood out long after the fight ended, and he also has not been in the ring in 18 months since the injury, soaying he quit, is honestly saying alot since the injury was very significant. Floyd vs Ortiz 2 in May yall!!

Ortiz will struggle tonight and need a shady decision to win or get a draw........take that to the bank. He will get the win because the networks are wanting to put him back in headline fights but he'll look rusty and gunshy and get a questionable nod.

I believe Mayweather would love to fight Ortiz again. Hopefully the fans and Showtime won't allow it.

I can't see it Trying to hype up a rematch on the basis of the BS that happened in the first fight, would only serve to hurt Mayweather's image. I'm sure he doesn't want to remind people of his behaviour in the first fight when he can fight others and let it be forgotten..

I think rematch would've been justified right after the first fight because of the way the fight ended,but not now. If Ortiz gets Canelo fight this year (and I'm pretty sure he will) and wins big,then yes

This is how i see it^^^^^^ Ortiz has to beat collazo via spectacular ko, and ortiz has a high profile, and would probably come cheaper than khan's reported 6 million.. but honestly i think they hold ortiz off til sept ppv, that way the expendables 3 movie will already be out, and ortiz's profile will be even higher, plus the controversy in the first fight ortiz-floyd 2 in sept 2014 You can't afford to wait until Sept because you never know what he'll do. Between the expendables, the underwear modeling, DWTS, and the attention he'll get should he win big tonight, Vic will have a higher profile than khan or maidana. Frankly, I dont think there really is a need for a rematch. I am still hoepful its maidana. But I'd take vic over khan. I'd take almost anyone over Khan to be honest.
