Personally I enjoy watching a tough, strong, skilled brawler/puncher slowly but surely chip away at a technical boxer who is less strong, a little less tough, and likes to operate from the outside.
I love seeing the puncher get closer each round by making a little adjustments as the fight goes on.
Eventually, hurting the boxer.
Then, urgency in the boxer's face and body language.
No way out.
KO.

It's fun to go to some amateur tournament and out of four **** fights you get to see someone who's the real deal. And you never heard of the guy before and this is the first time you see him in the ring and you know, hey, this one could be the next (insert name here).
Of course it can also happen while watching pro's but there everything is laid out in front of you beforehand. Those types of pleasant surprises are seldom.
My favorite is when a classic boxer isn't great enough to completely outbox a swarmer so he gets work done. Perfect example is Lara - Angulo . This is my favorite stylistic matchup .
That is good I agree. Loved that fight.
I just love when two boxers step into the ring after months of training then the tension as the first bell rings.
Then they posture for a while in the centre of the ring, circling, feinting. A few jabs are thrown but no power shots in case the other man counters.
Then with about ten seconds to go one of them throws a power shot. It misses! then wham, straight into a clinch so the other guy can't come back. I love seeing them test their strength on each other by hugging and shoving a bit.
No one will surrender so the ref has to pull them apart. Non of this fighting their way out bull****.
This goes on for the full twelve rounds. Jab, feint, clinch. No knockouts, I want to get my moneys worth.
I loved the bute pascal fight for these reasons. I know it's early but I think we've got a fight of the year candidate right there.

As long as neither man holds it's generally much easier on the eyes, not saying I'd watch Garcia-Burgos over and over,
but if we had more fights like Toney-McCallum.......
I enjoy watching fighters with unusual styles or abilities.
For example, Pernell Whitaker with his slippery body movement.
Naseem Hamed with his sniper punches from unexpected angles.
Julian Jackson with his heavyweight power in a middleweight body.
Gary Russell Jr. with his blinding handspeed, combinations and flurries.
As a Valero fan, I often cheer on power punchers and knockout artists.
I loved those fights. My favorite fights are often very hard fought battles between great fighters that can punch and box. Leonard-Duran, Both Leonard-Hearns fights, and the Pacquiao-Marquez fights are some fights I liked.
