Some people thought Pac lost against Bradley and their reason Pac was missing his punches against Bradley but then Pac out landed him in punch stat department almost by half. Take note, most of those punches were meaningful shots vs Bradley at most arms grazing and hitting gloves. Watch the video below and see for yourself.
Pac can't miss his left hand against Bradley from round 1 to 12 and was kicking his ass. Then if you look closely, clearly it was Bradley who was missing a lot of his shots.

When asked, "Did you think you won that fight?"
Bradley, "I'll have to watch the tape"
Even Bradley didn't think he won.
Bradley has improved since '12 though, he boxes better now and supposedly was injured in the first fight. I think this will be tougher and I hope Pac comes with bad intentions, then we'll see a war.
I thought Manny won the fight. The problem with compubox is it counts punches landed. roun ds are not just scored this way. The guy who lands the most punches could only win 4 or 5 rounds. If he loses the other rounds he loses the fight.
Wrong, the only thing looked at when judging a fight is NOT punches landed. There's more to it than that.
scoring fights is simple
number of punches + taking account of damage
ring generalship etc are things you ONLY take into account when the punches/damage is seemingly equal
retards always trying to make it more complicated than it really is
"oh but he moved around the ring" "oh he made him miss"
reaching is what it is

LOL! Pacman was kicking his ass from pillar to post. Anybody who had Bradley won this fight should be shot to the head.

Looks to me like Pacquiao didn't actually land any punches...
sounds racist to me but you cannot compare bradley to those guys. .. :lol1:
pac also seems like he just came from a 5 mile jog. did tim never landed anything on him also? does tim win because he had no black eye?
1. Clean punching (power versus quantity).
2. Effective aggressiveness.
3. Ring generalship.
4. Defense.
So in that scenario, clean punching is EVEN. effective agressiveness is both 0. defense has to go the guy making the other guy miss! and ring generalship to that guy also !!!!!
Ok so let's just get rid of the 1 and 2 altogether since they cancel out. So now we have a guy throwing and missing against a guy basically running away. Punch stats would be 0/999 to 0/0. I'd still give it to the guy missing and throwing. This is boxing after all, you're supposed to punch.
In that case, I'd give it to the the one missing wildly because I believe in giving points to trying to make the fight through activity.
throwing and missing > not throwing

so if both fighters dont land a punch, the one who threw but missed wildly gets it or does the other guy get the round?????? even round??????

throwing and missing > not throwing
Even in that video that is trying soooo hard to show how many clean shots Pacquiao was landing, 75% of the shots were being rolled, were glancing, etc...

lol Bradley was ready to hit the club after that fight!
I don't see any great defense from Bradley on tha video because Pac seems can't miss his left hand landing on Bradley. Take note these when Pac stepped up the gas. The next fight Pac will be doing that non stop.
No one said great, minimizing the effect of ones punches is a criteria to defending well. Mayweather did it against Ortiz which a considerable amount of people failed to see, Roberto Duran specialized in doing that as well. The fact that Bradley didn't end up badly bruised and beaten is a testament to how good his defense was that night.
I don't even think that's the argument though. What I've mostly seen is people questioning the substance in Bradley's offense, I thought he was effective but I admit I fall in the small minority with that one.
The rematch is a winnable fight for Pacquiao, Bradley tends to get into exchanges so it's always gonna be a winnable fight for him. That said I'm gonna comfortably lean towards Bradley, I think he's gonna have an easier time getting inside and working Pacquiao up close.
Pathetic video, goes to show how effective Bradley's defense was.

Wrong, the only thing looked at when judging a fight is NOT punches landed. There's more to it than that.I give the round to the fighter that scored the most punches and the best punches. If you have a different way of scoring rounds then good for you. I will continue to score fights my way. In all sports you get credit only when you score. In basketball you get points for baskets scored not baskets blocked. In soccer you get points for goals scored not goals blocked. Good defense is it's own reward in boxing. If you block or slip punches they don't count as punches that landed. You don't get points for making punches miss. That's why the expression "make him miss and then make him pay." If a judge gives points to a fighter just for making punches miss then that judge is scoring the fight wrong. Defense is it's own reward.
