Mikey Garcia vs Yuriorkis Gamboa

Would love to see this fight,,, but idiot gamboa left top rank for 50cent Gamboa would have had big fights with rios, manny, jmm, garcia, juanma by nowIf he had all 5 of those fights I think he would have KO loses to Pacquiao and Marquez. He has been hurt by fighters that don't hit nearly as hard or as accurately or often as Pac and JMM do. Gamboa could probably beat the other three guys. Garcia and Gamboa seem like natural 130 or 135 pounders at the most. I don't think they will ever beat the best welterweights because they are too small for 147.

This is one of the fights that needs to be made this year.

Mickey don't hit harder than Deleon, nor does he pressure like him. Bad thing with Gamboa hes been inactive so that may give Mickey a chance for the upset. All this talk is just to hype up Mickey, they wont risk him against Gamboa if they really thinking of putting him in with Pac man. If Burgus takes Garcia into the late rounds, am thinking Garcia may drown, but havn't seen Burgus fight so am not that confident he can take him when Garcia gets tired in the later rounds.

Garcia is the best fighter at 130,,, I think his poise, skills, power, counter-punching would be too much for gamboa IMO garcia will have a career just like his brother, he will have a good run as champ but then meet a diego corrales type, and get ko'd and then fade away... But right now i will take garcia over gamboa, burgos, uchiyama, and any feather bumping up,, at 135 vasquez, abril, and crawford would all cause garcia alot of problems, and i dont like his chances there

That's what I thought at first but after seeing Gamboa and mikey in their last couple of fights I think mikey might be able to take Gamboa out. Only thing I'm still questioning is Mikey's heart, haven't really seen him get tested to see if he'll fold or pull thru it. glasscia has less heart than than the tin man(pre-emerald city) and he also has no chin as we saw in his last fight. then again gamboa was scared of rios so its a toss up fight.

I used to think Gamboa could win this, but I think Mikey takes him out inside 10. Gamboa seemed to regress since signing with 50 Cent and his inactivity inside the ring isn't going to help. He should have taken the Rios fight. He would have dominated him easily and be in the driver's seat at TR. Instead he's calling out Garcia and hoping TR will throw him a bone.

Why do people think this will be competitive? Mikey by KO

Edited a quick highlight video of these two guys. Potential super fight at featherweight. Neither of these guys fight at featherweight anymore and Mikey stated that he is leaving super featherweight after this Saturday night's fight against Burgos if he wins. So if the fight happens it will most likely be at lightweight or above if they wait a long time to agree to it but in my opinion Mikey has all the necessary tools to defeat Gamboa.
