Andre berto, jorge linares, and victor ortiz comes to mind. All three have a chance to redeem themselves but at this point i consider them irrelevant.

There are a lot, basically any fighter that was once a name or world champ that is dug up to make a new guys resume look good. Taylor is making or attempting a legit comeback. Roy's fighting for the purses. Mosley was one, Ouma, Vasquez, Morales. The list is quite long and you could do this all day.

Roy Jones Jr. fits the description to a T. His last great fight was his narrow win over Tarver after dropping all of the weight he gained to fight at heavyweight. He should've retired after that. I would add Tarver, Michael Grant and Oliver McCall to the list as well.

Roy Jones Jr. comes to mind. He's just doing it for the money at this point and it's sad. His last good performance? Maybe against a bloated Trinidad in January 2008?
