Ortiz vs Collazo on a Thursday?

Ortiz is in deep. Collazo is a tough out. It's actually a terrible fight for Ortiz because there is no upside for Ortiz if he wins. I'll be shocked if Ortiz can get rid of Collazo. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ortiz get flustered though and lose his composure and fall apart in the fight though. I knew it. Ortiz was in trouble as soon as the first round started. No idea how to fight a slick southpaw. And kudos to Collazo for putting it on him early and setting the pace. The Reyes gloves were a nice touch. Great win for Luis and now he'll get a shot at Danny Garcia most likely.

I like the winner to face Devon Alexander next, Devon beats both of them.

Super Bowl week, should have some early bird sports fans in NY looking for something to do, think it will be sold out with a very pro Collazo crowd. It's hard for me to pick Ortiz, but I think if his jaw holds up and he doesn't show ring rust after long layoff, I pick Ortiz by KO.

If Ortiz wants to make a statement he needs to wrap it up in less than 8 rounds. Collazo is another Molina/Josesito type of high risk stressful fighter to be in the ring with. I think Ortiz will win he beat Berto more convincingly and the inactivity won't hurt him cuz he's a natural athlete.

Inactivity will surely hurt Ortiz, he hasn't fought in 17 months. Collazo fought twice last year, he's a tricky opponent to come back against. This fight is going to be close on the cards imo.

Is this fight going to be televised? How do you think Ortiz will do in this fight? It falls on a Thursday... I've gotta go with Collazo. Yes, Collazo has been around for a minute, but he has been active, and he is a slick, tough, fighter who I think beats Ortiz by clear UD.

Dont really consider it a low blow, and i consider this a good thing for boxing. Fox sports has done some good things by having fights on Monday and now thursday. The more the merrier. I totally agree! We need to see more fights on FS1 with big draw fighters.

Ortiz is such a lovable idiot. He's unpredictable and I don't think he's ever had a boring fight. I don't know how you can't like him
