Some good points.
How about Danny KOs Floyd? :D
:headbang:
If GGG KO'd Ward that would say A LOT about GGG... it would be very shocking.
For either man to be KO'd would be shocking.
No question...if ward was knocked out I would not have much to say about it because I don't like his style and I don't watch his fights live, usually I youtube them.floyd/manny just has too much build up to even compare these fights.
A lot of these posts are pretty dumb. GGG koing Ward would be a bigger accomplishment mainly because of how vastly far apart they are in terms of resume, skill, and p4p. Manny is considered fairly close to Floyd and it'd be shocking because it's Floyd but thats the only reason. Both are past prime and way above their starting weight classes. Both are ATGs, where Ward is a top P4P guy, in his prime, at his weight class.... let's be real which is more likely and a bigger accomplishment....GGG going from fighting noone to koing the undisputed guy at 168, or past prime manny and floyd fighting and floyd getting KO'd. Think about it.
Even past it, Pacquiao is an ATG and it shouldn't be that much of a surprise if he stopped Mayweather.
I'd be downright unbelieving if Golovkin beat Ward. If he stopped him, it would take a few days for me to process it.
Dead on, bro.
As a boxing fan, I know knocking out Ward at 168 would be huge for GGG. Bigger than Manny knocking out Floyd, but just to see Floyd get KO'd by my favorite fighter. :headbang::headbang::headbang:
KO'ing Ward would be more impressive. Manny knocking out Floyd wouldn't be a shock to me. And it wouldn't be a shock to the Mayweathers, since they're a bunch of duck dynasty looking mugs.
Pacquiao KOing Mayweather would be more impressive.
Pacquiao looks past his prime and hasn't had a KO in years. Knocking out one of the best defensive fighters in history would be impressive.
Ward was KD'd hard already by Darnell Boone. Floyd has never been in that situation. And I've never seen Floyd get tired or lose composure the way Ward did in the last couple rounds against Froch. Ward is more vulnerable IMO.
Agree for the most part.
Mayweather has been buzzed by Corley, Judah, and Mosley, but never really been put in a bad way.
But, a GGG stoppage of Ward in the somewhat immediate future would be very impressive, as Ward would be still be considered more into his "prime".
Manny has slipped, but it's not like Mayweather is getting any younger either.

I think Pacquiao KOing Mayweather gets more credit. Mayweather is a much better fighter than Ward and nobody has ever even cleanly knocked him down. GGG is a great fighter and I think he could spot Ward the 8 lbs. of weight and KO him.

GGG knocking out Ward would be more impressive because there's a big difference in resume and accomplishments, unlike Floyd and Manny, and Ward is bigger than GGG and still in his prime.
