Of course there have been great fights in Canada. Probably thousands of great fights.It's the fighters in the fight that determine how good the fight will be. The country the fight takes place in does not matter. The HBO fights were terrible last night but not because the fights took place in Canada. Those fighters would have fought boring fights wherever they fought.
I hate the way certain fans blame anything negative that happens on a country as if the same thing wouldn't have happened in their own country. Anyhow, Canadian boxing crowds can be some of the best, they get right into it.
One of the most entertaining fighters of all time Arturo Gatti fought Joe Hutchinson at the Molson Centre in Montreal before aswell,but was not one of his most memorable performances.
