He sounds good. He's improved, he sounds much better than he did a few years ago. He doesn't sound good, he'd be on the best of not making american idol comedy things. I give him credit for trying but come on now, maybe he sings better natively but just a bit of that made me want to stop listening...and generally I listen to bands like Pay Money to my Pain...which is an asian band that sings in english so I'm used to it.
