Sure khan is a household name in the UK but that's for being a celebrity that happens to box. The real boxing fans know he stands no chance and they are the people that will buy the PPV at the end of the day, not khans average twitter follower.
On the other hand Kell Brook is a big name on the UK boxing scene and I'm sure more british boxing fans would be interested in staying up all night and paying to watch him fight rather than just watching the inevitable 2 minute youtube knockout highlights of khan the next day.
You think together UK and US combined would do 800K? That can't be serious.
This could do 800K in the UK alone.
Khan-Mayweather won't do 800k in the UK. I can't see that happening at all.
My estimation is between 200k-400k.
Khan is definitely the bigger fight...
It doesn't matter what the boxing hardcore wants, people who don't follow boxing know who Khan is so it'll naturally get a lot more PPV buys.
There is no way Floyd is KOing Khan!
I think there is a very good chance. Floyd's sharpness and Khans terrible defence and dodgy chin. Fighters who arent in Floyds league had Khan on the floor.
Its not just about power, its timing and accuracy.
The point I'm getting at is a khan will be a financial flop and a similar amount of revenue could be generated from the uk for a brook fight. I'm hardly f*ckin stupid for acknowledging that.
You are delusional if you think Brook draws anywhere near the amount Khan would for a Mayweather fight.
Good point well made. I'd disagree he's unknown to the masses, but anyway like I said before the masses don't buy a boxing PPV. as long as they are known to the boxing fans that's all the counts.
Kell needs a big win over some names
Khan has got the likes of Zab, Barrera, Maidana, Paulie etc.. on his resume, as well as a Olympic medal.
Brook needs a few names, Carson Jones rematch didnt help his profile
His resume has no big names, he beat the guy who beat a old Hatton, thats his biggest win, which really isnt a big name, but it was a start.
Its all about profile and Kell needs to get a move on, he isnt getting any younger
Khan sold more tickets for his fight with Diaz in Kell Brooks own hometown than Kell did for his own fight
Khan is a household name who sell 1000's of tickets anywhere up and down the country, Kell Brook only sells up in Sheffield and is virtually unknown to the masses

r u f*ckin stupid OP?

Was this before the Diaz fight? I think his stock has dropped a lot after analysis of that fight and his general inactivity.
A couple of weeks ago on an extended IFL TV interview.
Who has Brook beaten for anyone to think he stands more of a chance than Khan? I know Khan has major flaws, but at least he has real experience.
And Khan vs Floyd would be a much bigger PPV.
Eddie Hearn named Khan as the most marketable UK boxer, ahead of Froch, Brook, Fury,Groves etc. Khan is the highest profile active UK fighter.
Was this before the Diaz fight? I think his stock has dropped a lot after analysis of that fight and his general inactivity. Which casual believes he's still a world class fighter?
I guess time will tell but my prediction is a mayweather khan fight will do 800k PPV buys and thats a US-UK total.
lol you might regret saying this if the UK PPV goes well, it could be Mayweather v Brook in September. :lol1:
LOL who knows I don't see Danny agreeing to fight Floyd until next year; even if Khan beats Floyd they won't rematch until next year.
Its a fight I would rather see personally.
