it irks me that there reason for making this fight is the "Huge!" fanbase that amir khan has, i mean just look at his twitter followers!!!

Madiana has a punchers chance people do win the lottery at times Maidana has a waaaaaay better chance than Khan. I been hearing that same thing before plenty of times when it comes to Floyd the reflexes and footwork makes for a defense that turns that chance into a pretty slim one. If someone is gonna do Floyd in I doubt it will be a come forward flat footed power guy, that suits him perfectly thats probably his favorite type of cherry. It's not so much him having a shot, it's more it being an interesting entertaining fight and not the same old 12 rd UD we see from Floyd against Maidana type fighters. Say what you like about Khan but if he had a granite Rios style chin he'd probably an undefeated 3 weight champion by now. He's not because his chin is a major weakness and his defence isn't great but against Floyd who fights risk free and defence minded and has dodgy hands that chin is far less of a factor. No doubt Floyd can KO Khan or win a wide decision but I don't see him doing it pot shoting with single pitty pat punches from the outside.

Maidana has seemed to improve and uses head movement and a jab more the trainer he has hasn't tried to change his style much just add some things to make him better at what he does. exactly, thats why garcia is a good fit for maidana, he still utilizes his strengths but added a few wrinkles to make him more effective
