A couple years ago, Arum said he didn't know who to contact to negotiate a Mayweather-Pac fight. Wonder if he's figured anything out yet?
Floyd is pretty much promoted by Golden Boy, you'd think that would be a start point, right? Now, I'm no promoter but it don't seem like rocket science.
And what about the stadium and the "investors?"
TR laid out a list of demands that were all non-starters and refused to hear any counter offers - hence all of the excuses ole' Lonesome Bob has been feeding Pac.tardom since...And what were those non-starters exactly?
In that whole negotiation with the countdown clock, wasn't that the one where Arum said they had an agreement but they haven't talked to Floyd yet so they had no idea if he would accept or not. I also seem to remember Arum saying they would not negotiate through the media yet that was like all he did, putting up said countdown clock~
Your timelines a little twisted. The Ross Greenburg reaching out to Ellerbe on Arum's behalf was in summer 2010. Greenburg later said that yes he had been talking to Haymon and Shaefer to get the fight done in fall 2010. Both Arum and Shaefer referred to a self imposed gag order in interviews leading up to that.
Arum said he didn't know who to call in late 2011 after Mayweather stated he wasn't a golden boy fighter and that his team makes the offers and that Golden Boy just helps out with the promotion logistics.
Not taking sides, I really could care less about this fight now but facts are facts.
Ellerbe clearly lied about no talks taking place in summer 2010 just like Pac clearly turned down a 50-50 contract that was sent to him on Floyd's behalf over testing. Arum didn't want the fight first, Floyd turned it down later on.This is one of the most balanced viewpoints on the subject I have seen in years.
Greenburg contacted Arum, Arum gave him his demands, Greenburg passed them on and Mayyweather rejected. Arum didn't contact Mayweathers team.
This is very hard for some to comprehend.

Wonder if he's figured anything out yet?Since you have been in deep freeze for God knows how long, the latest word is Mayweather said he will not do business with Arum. And Greenburg and Arum communicated years ago. Next.
Like some have said before no one needs to be contacted when Pacquaio is already Floyd's mandatory. The choice is up to Mayweather to fight or vacate the belt.

If you need the president of HBO to be the chief medium between both camps, then there's a problem there. Seems to me like team Floyd is a ***** to deal with.
Arum actually initiated conversations. Team Floyd straight up *****ed out.
"Floyd is not thinking of boxing at this time."
Not trying to argue with you, but does that make any sense to you? Arum clearly states that he had absolutely no idea who to contact for negotiations for the biggest fight, possibly ever. Then claims to have reached out to Ellerbe?

So...Arum didn't want Golden Boy involved in any of the Mayweather-Pacquiao promotion then and had no clue who to contact on Floyd's side...yet, he claims he contacted Ellerbe for negotiations?
Not trying to argue with you but isn't Showtime and GB the ones saying the fight won't happen with Arum in the picture? Need a link to that too?

Read above. I know you already did, but you're playing dumb now. :lol1:
Twist this however you want. Floyd nut huggers take it to new heights.
Ross Greenburg says otherwise. :lol1:
