Ward beats him down, possibly stops him. Likely stops him, actually.
I doubt that, Ward us truly feather fisted, he would still win every second of every round.
Ward stopped Dawson, you think he can't do the same to Golovkin?
are you serious? a weight drained, suspect chinned dawson lasted 10 rd's before 'quitting', if he really wanted to he could probabley make the distance, but it was obvious to everyone including him, he was not winning on the cards anymore, and he was far too drained and weak to score a stoppage, so whats the point?
ward is not stopping golovkin, ever
golovkin would have ko'd the dawson ward fought within 4 rd's, and it would be a KO
golovkin might be a little shorter than ward, but it can be an advantage against a guy like ward who likes to duck low, it can save him from some headbutts too and golovkin is more than strong enough to hang with ward
Super Middleweight (pros) has a 76.2 Kg limit...
Middleweight (amateurs) has a 75 Kg limit...
Golovkin fought at the middleweight in the amateurs...
Professional boxing's different to amateur boxing and Golovkin seems to make 160 fine. Don't you think it would be wiser for Golovkin to test himself professionally at 168 rather than jumping straight in with the best fighter at 168 and pfp second best fighter in the world?
This ^^
If Golovkin was to fight Ward he should certainly test himself at 168 first. But as long as Golovkin can make 160 he should stay, even if the top dogs of the division don't want to fight him.

Ward probably wins, he's a big 168lb fighter who uses his physicality on the inside. Golovkin is untested at 168, his power may not carry up.
Golovkin should stay at 160 and rule the roost there.

ward because he is the far better fighter.
... here I have to disagree with you -- you, the fans there (in the U.S.), do not have the required "organ" to understand the "old Russian school" style... Fortunately your fighters do understand it.
Ward beats him down, possibly stops him. Likely stops him, actually.
you still bad at predictions as ever i see
who the hell does ward stop for him to "likely" stop golovkin
:pat:
Golovkin has a better understanding of distance, he should hit harder and he has an excellent timing.
This would be a brutal fight.
