If Mayweather avoided Khan and instead chose the much easier opponent Maidana, who Khan himself already beat down, is that worse than Bradley ducking Khan to fight Casamayor? Or is it around the same?
Did you not read what I wrote? Khan has done zilch at welterweight and left light welterweight on a stoppage loss. He's had two nothing wins since and looked like garbage last time out. What he did before getting splatted by Garcia means nothing at 147lbs.
Let him make a case at the weight and validate the fight. You can't be ducking someone that hasn't earned a shot at you.
Everything this guy just said^^^^^^^^^^^^
Khan almost got KO by diaz in his last fight, imagine what any top welterweight would do to him? do you imagine thurman fighting him?, hahaha that would be an awesome 30 seconds fight.
Neither one of them avoided Khan. The fact that you say Mayweather is ducking Khan by fighting a proven welterweight who just won a title is comical. Bradley didn't fight Khan because of promoter issues at the time. The Cassamayor fight was the first fight on Top rank and he fought Pacquiao, Prodinkov and Marquez in his next three fights.
Floyd said himself its all about taking the smallest risk for the highest reward. Maidana is obviously the far smaller risk.. Khan already beat his @ss..
I know how Floyd is. But no one avoids Khan. Especially at 147. He's done absolutely nothing at the weight.
Nobody avoids Khan. Bradley didn't fight him because it would had extended his contract and he wanted to fight a more profitable and better fighter in Pac.
No different how Khan avoided Alexander to try and get a shot at Floyd.
Khan is easy money for any top B level fighter
The very idea that someone believes Floyd would "avoid" Khan to fight anyone is so outside the realm of reality that it's funny. I'd classify it as science fiction.:lol1:
lol Agreed.
And Bradley fighting a 40 year old Casa was an absolute joke.

Stupid post. Bradley could'nt fight because of the Gary shaw legal situation.and who the hell is Amir khan?what has he done to over shadow his chin problems? Plus mayweather is all business. He will never avoid any fighter. He absolutely fights for the money. This is a very stupid post poll.

Khan already beat Malignaggi (the former wba 147 champ) and Maidana (the current wba 147 champ)..

What makes this thread stupid is the notion that Mayweather not fighting Khan is some sort of avoidance or "duck". Khan has done zilch all of late and even less at 147lbs. Maidana has at least grabbed a belt and is trying make a case at the weight. If Khan wants that Mayweather fight so bad, then take the belt from Maidana, or at least reverse being splatted by Garcia. Not struggle against a shopworn Julio Diaz. A win agaInst ANY top welter (Thurman, Alexander, Porter, Maidana, or even Guerrero or Brook, would validate the fight.
Mayweather not fighting Khan for someone else at welterweight that's actually won a fight there would seem like a step up.

Its not just my opinion.. Maidana beat Broner on all official judges scorecards, Paulie beat Broner on one official judge scorecard..
Khan beat both Maidana and Paulie on all judges scorecards.. he in a different league to Paulie, Maidana and Broner.
Khan would knock Broner out he couldnt deal with paulie or maidana speed, khan destroys him

That is your opinion, personally I think both Maidana and Broner beat Khan and neither are A level fighters. I agree with you on Broner's level I just see Khan being at an even lower level. I don't see Khan OR Maidana being worthy Mayweather opponents but out of the 2 I feel Maidana has a better case.

Maidana didnt improve he just the same fighter as the fight with Khan.. All garcia did is bring him back to his previous level because he dropped down a few notches.. he didnt do good against alexander because he didnt even train right, looking for a new trainer in that fight camp and it was his first fight at 147..
Broner always been overrated.. he never a A level fighter to begin with so that fight doesnt even matter.. its like saying maidana beat corley so somehow he worthy of mayweather because of that.. the last guy khan fought was julio diaz and he would beat broner too.. broner is a b minus level fighter at best.. he got beat by ponce de leon + paulie before
Not to mention Khan battered Paulie and Judah.
Noway is Maidana a better opponent for Floyd, in terms of achievement or styles.
This is a troll thread. Maidana has improved since the Khan fight and Khan has declined. If they fought today I would expect Maidana to win. Khan has shown NOTHING since the Peterson fight that would make you think he could make a go of it in a Mayweather fight,in fact his performances have shown he just does not have it at the highest level.
Maidana's win over Broner a Mayweather wantobe clone puts him in the frame for a Mayweather fight. Personally I would prefer to see a Maidana Khan title fight as a Mayweather eliminator but quite frankly Khan does not really deserve it.
