Do you see Kirkland moving to 160 for his next fight?

Kirkland would be a step up in competition for a guy like GGG. He'd be the worst fight Golovkin's taken since getting his belt. Kirkland wouldn't get past the first round unless he turned his back and ran.

He hasn't had the pay day that some comparable fighters have earned so he will go where the best pay out is! This is prize (money) fighting and Kirkland isn't an up and coming kid! If he beats GGG he will move up into a much higher place if he looses he will also get some decent pay days. Either way its his time to make the move, snooze you loose. Ray

Kirkland vs. GGG Would be awesome that is the only other big fight at middle weight besides Cotto vs. Martinez. Golden Boy has most of the belts at 154 so he should just move up for only the big fights.

he did have a catch weight at 156 for his last fight, hes power could defiantly transition well. There would be some really interesting fights if he fought at 160 I think he will go there for the golovkin fight. HBO will surely pay him well for that.

Hes not the most skilled talented boxer so he needs a big strenght and weight advantage against good boxers. Im sure he could knock out Sturm though. Golovkin would absolutely whoop Kirkland! All of Floyds opponents & haters say the same thing before a fight. After its just a bunch of excuses. I see the same thing happening with Kirkland. After all he is a guy who got KO'd by a journeyman in the 1st round (please no excuses). But it would be good while it lasted! You're right. Regardless of who wins, that be a great fight. Presuming its at 154, it presents a risk to Floyd getting k.o.'d but if Floyd neutralizes Kirkland and gets the UD, that'd be fine too. Just wish Kahn wasn't in the picture.

His power might translate to 160, but that shaky ass chin certainly won't. 154-160 might be the biggest step in boxing...you're facing guys that are 6'+ on the regular at 160

I would rather se Kirkland get the Mayweather fight. He deserves it more than Khan.
