Go ahead.a flat fee is guaranteed money, thats great that pac got 40 million, but when floyd gets not only the ppv revenue, but ALL the revenue streams from the fight, its not 50/50 anymore hell not even 60/40, floyd would be making much much much more than pac that night. which would be ridiculous especially in between 2009-2011 when pac was actually producing more buys that floyd overall. It was insane offer for how big this fight truly is

That offer was a complete joke and Mayweather knew pac would not accept it. Oscar de la hoya didn't give mayweather a flat fee. He didn't give pacquiao a flat fee. Mayweather didn't give hatton a flat fee, didn't offer cotto a flat fee etc.. And then he offers pac a flat fee with no PPV Upside in a fight that would have broken records? and be the biggest money fight in the history of the sport. Think about that for a second. And no he could not do that with any other fighter other than pac. Pac had one and still has today one of the biggest fanbase in boxing. Now he says he will only fight pac if he is not with arum. The excuses never stop. Because they love his nuts in a super fvcking weird way.

Manny had an offer of 50/50 and walked away over drug testing....got a 40 million offer after saying he would take less then demanded 50/50...he turned down 2 huge paydays

$40million dollars is actually a lot of money, if you didn't know. I'm going to do the math based on some conservative numbers. Let's say Mayweather vs Pacquiao would have sold 2.5 million PPVs @ $65. That's $162.5Mill. Cut that in half for the network and cable companies shares, that leaves $81.2Mill for the fighters. So Pacquiao gets a flat fee of $40mill out of $81.2Mill. Now unless the PPV does something crazy like 3Mill PPV+, yeah the $40mill offer becomes a low ball. But if does any where around 2Mill-2.8, $40million at worst is a 55-45 split in favor of Floyd....thats not how it works and yes this fight would easily do 3 million buy

I bet Manny will jump for that offer now....please tell me when he has ever gotten a 40 million payday
