or does mike tyson know more with the whole "YOU DONT KNOW BOXING IF YOU THINK FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR IS BETTER THAN MANNY PACQUIAO"
being taught by the great cus da mato and being the youngest ever heavyweight champioon, i think his opinion is more valid
both tyson and roger know boxing. they were both world champions ffs. really think world champions dont know anything about their own sport? especially a guy like roger who turned to training once his career was over and helped mold one of the best fighters in history. the man lived boxing his whole life and as for tyson everyone knows he is a historian and a student of the game.
bottom line is ppl who have great knowledge disagree all the time in evey field imaginable. just because two people disagree entirely on a subject doesnt mean one of them doesnt know the field. it simply means they disagree.
i thought tyson said you dont know boxing if you find mayweather more exciting than pacquiao, that too i disagree with. all of it. i think mayweather is better and more exciting, but i wouldnt say people who disagree dont know anything about boxing. sometimes thats the case (read a thread where some clown said pacquiao had better footwork and angles than floyd:rofl:) but not always. some peoples opinion just differs from my own, it happens. thats why forums like this exist in the first place, well that and its a safe way for a ***** to run his mouth about fighters he wouldnt even have the balls to approach.
People get this misconception that Roger doesn't know his stuff, maybe it's due to how he articulates himself but I don't doubt Roger or Sr. one bit. I believe both of them are very analytical, they just don't seem adamant about breaking things down as much as I wish they should. I like to listen to Jeff or Bradley's trainer Joel Diaz, they'll give you a better breakdown.

Are you referring to that recent Tyson interview on some ESPN show?
