M. Garcia vs Y. Gamboa. Who do you have?

Seen Darley Perez time his shots and land on Gamboa. Seen Farenas drop him. I think Mikey gets the stoppage Darleys is a good, big counterpuncher and that was at lightweight. Farenas is massively underrated and hits like a truck. He is no question in my mind one of if not the hardest punchers south of 130. Hes nicknamed ''Hammerfist'' & for good reason.

Tough call, in my opinion. Two years ago, Yuri would've pasted Mikey. Today, after all that inactivity and listlessness, I have to give the edge to Garcia. The one thing I would truly love about this fight is that it would motivate Gamboa to get back on track. That would make for a dangerous "Ciclon," and a fight that might surprise most people...including myself.

Mikey is at the top of his game, Gamboa's been out for 2 years . At this point rios beats Gamboa's ass!!!

Gamboa is to inactive to step in with Mikey at the moment. His wide looping shots and misses against lesser fighters, will get him Ko'd Pacman style.. Mikey is to accurate for him..

it's been hard to tell where Gamboa is for at least 2 years. Can't be that confident in the assessment but I'll give thoughts on it. Last time I saw him, the thought passed through my head that he's heading down the path of being shot..he's mostly still Yuri, but I think his reflexes have depreciated more than a little.. to me, he's not getting off with punches like he used to. He was springing up from knockdowns in the past, but now I think he is more prone to having damage build up throughout a fight. But even with that, he might still have the dynamic speed to shake Mikey, and befuddle him. I could def see that. Reminds me a little of Pac-Barerra, in the dynamic vs static type of element. But nowadays, I just don't find Gamboa as furious as Manny and with even the slightest dropoff due to age, etc., Gamboa might find it hard to get through the jab of a disciplined Garcia i would expect a highly disciplined Garcia to take little chances and stay behind jab and outbox him to a decision

Gamboa is to small for the weight. He moved up out of lazyness and inactivity, not necessity. Gamboa is better, but Mikey is good enough, and know how to control range and stick the jab. Gamboa will have massssive problems.

If this was Gamboa after his fight with Ponce, I'd pick him. But Gamboa has looked less than stellar lately. I think Mikey struggles here and there but times him effectively and UD's him.

Garcia is an average technician with above average power. Basic, upright, pretty ordinary in fairness. Does most things well, nothing great. Gamboa's speed, movement, angles, combination punching will cause the robotic Garcia to crash. Deer in headlights. Hes never seen anything like Gamboa. I assure you Gamboa seen 20 of him in the AMs and another 5 in the pros. Gamboa wide U.D Garcia is bog standard. People have nothing to go on but ''Gamboa has a glass chin'' Personally I think Garcia has a rather questionable chin himself & he has got no head movement. Just a big kid picking on midgets, Gamboa's left overs. Anybody wants to bet when this fight gets signed, message me, I'll gladly take your points.

I think Mikey would win but Gamboa is definitely the faster fighter. It'd be a good fight:boxing:

Gamboa rips his face off but you can't expect the new flavour of the month to not win the poll by a landslide. Exactly. Gamboa is more skilled and he is the better boxer of the 2. I'm sure that Garcia fans will flood the polls

You don't think Mikey is more technically sound than Gamboa? do explain why please. Gamboa is faster than Mikey. He puts combinations together in a much more crisp fashion. He also has more expierence than Mikey. You don't think Yuriorkis has seen a fighter like Mikey? What does Mikey do better than Gamboa? Please enlighten me.

Both are highly skilled, and they are destined to meet in the square circle. Who wins? Is Mikey more technically sound than Gamboa? I don't think so to be honest, but Gamboas long lay off concerns me. I'm picking Gamboa in this. Who do you guys have? You don't think Mikey is more technically sound than Gamboa? do explain why please.
