ggg needs to fight a big name soon and he really doesn't have many options. murray seems to be ducking. kirkland burned his bridges with GB and doesn't have nobody to fight either. this could be the biggest fight either could have next year. do you see this happening?
of course at 160 (like the 7 8 blown up jr. middleweights that i just named)
no one wants to see this guy add another blown up jr. middleweight to his schedule. (it's become pathetic) i literally just named 7 jr. middleweights that he's fought already & counting :lol1:
no one wants to see that trash anymore........lets see you take better risks.
geez...........
Well, actually you named 5 (outta his last 10 fights) - and of those Ishida was already a MW - (unless Stevens was a super-middle) and Rosado actually fights as big as Golovkin (he's just a real big JMW who will probably have to make a permanent move before long) Tapia fought his 2 fights prior to GGG at 160 and Kirkland (should the fight be made) has bounced from JMW to SMW over the last decade. Oh, and he only fought Nunez once.
Whilst I do take your point, there is a lot of movement between JMW and 160 - the 6lbs difference is relatively even smaller than the 7lbs between WW and JWW which people don't even seem to blink at.
Personally I would prefer he looked to the SMWs but as the plan is to move up only when he's done all he can at MW, and I can't see many career SMWs wanting to come down...I can kinda understand why it ain't happened.
3G hasn't even moved to 168 yet and dudes are naming off LHWs. Kirkland moving to 160 isn't the same as 3G moving to 175. Kirk rehydrated past 170 against Molina, he would be fine at MW. My problem with this match-up is that it shouldn't be the main event because it might not last long.
I don't give up on a guy after one loss. He's shown he could come back since then. If he wants the fight, and GGG wants the fight. I'll watch it.
They shouldn't.... But still....this isn't a good matchup for Kirkland. He's easy to hit and gold kin will kill him.
You named Nunez twice and Tapia... Tapia hasnt even fought GGG yet.
It just shows how little those certain fans actually know about the sport. If it isn't a "slick" defensive fighter, they don't care.
Kirkland is a ghood fighter though. Why are you selling him so short?
because he got KO'd by Ishida...so all past performances are moot.
Honestly though, his style will get him killed...entertaining though
nah he'll fight geale after the monacco massacre
Geale #1 mando after that fight.... would be hilarious for Murra/Fletcher to try and fight their mando when the WBA mando hasn't fought Golovkin in like three years
Triple G vs BHop is a better fight for Triple G....Kirkland is a 154 pounder who hasn't been active enough to compete with the 160 pound top dogs imo
And B-Hop is a fucking LHW.
WHO is he supposed to fight? You still haven't named a single person. Tell us who the options are.
He can't because he has to save them for when he calls them crap opposition.
Let's just name fights we already know won't happen because they're too scared to fight
isn't 154 around 160???
if ggg can make 154 isn't he a blown up jr. middleweight too???
you'd prefer him fight a bigger but lesser opponent???
makes no sense. kirkland is the best guy willing to fight him.
around his weight as in 160 and up.....if he wants to fight jr. middleweights he needs to move to 154. period point blank........
you guys bend over backwards for the BS that comes out of team golovkin.....if this was any other fighter he would have been sodomized on this board..............
you mostly just sound scared that kirkland will get knocked out
you my friend are a doke...............kirkland already has been knocked out cold by ishida and i am scared that he will get ko'd?
WHAT.
i actually thought tapia was gonna knock out kirkland but he prevailed and i gave him his credit (well, i gave ann wolf her credit)
me pointing out that golovkin fighting 6 jr. middleweights & now kirkland is being thrown into that pathetic mix. how is it that the ONLY thing you got out of that is "you scarrd that supa hero ggg will ko kirkland"
muahahahahaha!!!
This is the best fight out there for GGG. I think Kirkland has a good chance at the upset as well. Kirkland is like a more powerful version of ouma and we know how well ouma did against GGG. GGG can't fight backing up and kirkland is strong as hell. Robert garcia who sparred with both GGG and kirkland says kirkland was stronger and said it would be a toss up if they both fight.
i don't care about that...........take on fighters around your weight class or a little higher. (168) if no one wants to fight you....or if you truly want to fight jr. middleweights just move down to 154 (team ggg already said they would make the move down) but fighting blown up jr. middleweights at middleweight is pathetic.........golovkin at this point shouldn't even be in the discussion for a blown up jr. middleweight like Kirkland

Then you need your eyes checked. Ishida is 6'2, fought at Middleweight 11 times, three of which consecutively prior to GGG. That's called a MW.
ame a middleweight Golovkin should have fought?
Geale? Was stripped for not fighting GGG.
Sturm? Ducked his mandatory for two years.
Quillin? Showtime.
Murray? Turned him down.
Martinez? Turned him down.
Ndam? Didn't even show to a purse bid three different times.
Barker? Turned him down.
GGG can only take what he can get. Unfortunately you can't force the other MWs to fight him cuz this is boxing the only sport where ducking opponents is rewarded.

You named Nunez twice and Tapia... Tapia hasnt even fought GGG yet.
I see where you are going, just trying to get the facts straight. 5 is still a lot.i actually wasn't counting. i was just naming people that i knew he had fought who come up to meet him.......but to be specific
ishida, Ouma. Nunez, Rosado, Tapia (with kirland that would make 6)
6 7 jr. middleweights is ridiculous :lol1:
and yes he fought Nilson Julio Tapia who came up in weight from 154 to meet him.........
