there was no quit in the man..and since floyd has no ko power..this will be a much intriguing fight then what people are expecting.
people can question about Khan's chin..but never his heart
Alexander backed out of 2 fights with Khan at 140 and then he went and faced Porter instead of fighting Khan at 147. Peterson was on PEDs so that doesn't even count - Khan beat him anyway it was just the corrupt ref who took 2 (I repeat, 2) points off Khan for doing something that Smoger tells fighters to do - pushing a spoiler off. Khan beat Maidana by outboxing him which is how you're supposed to beat Maidana - most people aren't going to win a slug fest with Maidana are they..
Diaz is about as good as Shawn Porter who just beat Alexander. Diaz and Porter drew in their first fight. He was underrated but luckily Khan didn't take him lightly so he came out victorious. I'd say Diaz vs Maidana is a 50-50 fight too, just like the first Diaz vs Porter fight.
As far as gap in skills - there is a big gap in skills between Mayweather and virtually any other top fighter in and around the division - that goes without saying..
You really have all your facts all screwed up. Diaz has no chance against Maidana. Diaz is no where as good as Karas Soto

Khan has no quit, every time he is hurt he fights back, yes he loses very now and then but his resume is splendid and he has legitimate world title wins.
Khan v Mayweather is intriguing because of styles.
It would be nice to see Mayweather against Handspeed like we saw against Zab Judah in 2006, we have seen him against brawlers, pressure fighters, bigger guys, bigger punchers, counterpunchers, boxer punchers, southpaws, and to be honest it's recycled and kinda boring now.

When's the last time any British fighter quit? Khan's just another one with more pride than sense.
I don't think he has that much heart. He backed out of his fight with Alexander. He did lots of running in his fights with Peterson and Maidana. He has never tried to rematch the three men that beat him. Mayweather will toy with him and knock him out. Khan won't win a single round. That is how I see the fight going anyway. That is just my honest opinion. Don't get mad at me, Khan fans. Try to understand not everybody thinks Khan is that good. He just barely beat Diaz who is ranked #44 in the world. Khan is rank #17 in the world by boxrec. There is a big gap in skills between Mayweather the #1 welterweight in the world and Khan who is #17.

He was willing to die huh? So what does willing to die against Danny have to do with Floyd?? Because Khan was willing to die, he deserves the Floyd fight?? I don't get it.:poke:
I meant Khan not Danny.

Dude. I don't know how much stock I'd put in boxrec though. They have Canelo like 6th P4P in the world. Although their Broner P4P rank is legit (like 60th, lmfao)

Khan was also willing to test the waters at welter by draining a blown up lightweight that wound up dropping him. What a performance, and certainly fitting of taking on the best fighter in boxing.
Floyd will land a counter left hook and Khan will be snoring before he even hits the mat. People are saying Floyd has no power... He doesn't have KO power but that doesn't mean he cannot KO Khan. Firstly, I think Floyd's technique, power and speed are all better than Prescott (who KO'd Khan in one round.) Then we have Garcia who only has more pop than Floyd, Floyds hook is faster and more accurate I would say. Maidana had Khan nearly out of there with a left hook and again while Floyd doesn't hit as hard he is more accurate and faster with it. Also in Khan's last fight I think he got hit with 1000 left hooks again and was stunned by one of them.
Floyd Mayweather has one of the best, if not the best left hook in boxing. Amir Khan has one of the worst, if not the worst chin in boxing. There really is no reason to pay to see Khan get KO'd I've seen it twice already.
khan now can get wobbled or ko'd by anything floyd lands
during his wildcard days this fight would have been the sht, khan could seriously win and i wouldn't had favored floyd to stop him
I know everyone is laughing their asses off at Khan but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him. Power and stopping Floyd ain't going to happen, he's just too amazing defensively, only way to have a chance is work rate and blazing hand speed to be able to score some of those punches so it's not just meaningless work. And Khan fits the bill there.
If Amir can make it the distance without getting stopped, who knows, could get interesting.
Lord knows I'm not saying Khan will win or even has a good chance as he still may get that ass whooped, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ultimately ends up a more challenging opponent than either of the last two (Guererro/Canelo).
I know what you mean bro, but heart isn't enough to beat Floyd, Khan will have to be at the absolute top of his game. If he's in the same form as when he beat Maidana, Malignaggi and Judah, then Khan has a shot at causing the upset based on blistering speed, workrate, awkward angles, movement, unpredictablity and boxing skills. People are obviously going to be shocked if that happens. But Khan did easily outbox both Malignaggi and Judah who are very decent boxers in their own right.
Floyd does punch fairly hard though, he's not feather-fisted by any means. Mosley said Floyd and Canelo's power are roughly the same. Khan had become weight-drained at 140 just like he was weight-drained at 135 and the associated weakness caused by that condition definitely had a part to play in both his losses. So I think Khan's punch resistance should, in theory at least, return to the sort of level it was at when he fought Maidana which means Floyd wouldn't be able to hurt Khan as easily as many people think because Khan had a hell of a good punch resistance at that point in his career - I'm pretty sure it's because he wasn't weight-drained for that fight.
