When will the American media hype machine learn to walk before it runs?
I understand no one has a crystal ball and all you can do is make an educated guess about a fighters prospects. But come on!
If anyone should be being backed as the future to the level these guys were it should be Andre ward and Rigo, say what you want about their less than crowd pleasing styles. The likelihood is though that they will be dominant for a the foreseeable future.
Focuses on Khan about what tho??Have I said anything negative about him within the post??So what is the problem,he went through something similar to that of Broner..Taylor in reality has a better win on his resume then both of these two..Truth be told they are more compatible to each other(Broner and Khan)then they are to Taylor..
Comparing Khan to Broner is an insult and you know that. That's why you brought Khan up. Can't keep that dick out your mouth
Taylor had a weak chin, but he was very skilled, had a great amateur pedigree, a very nice jab. He accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. He was the undisputed champ at middleweight. Something the others can't say.
He was giving Carl Froch a boxing lesson, until he wilted late in the fight.
One guy you might have to keep an eye on, that may join this list, is Gary Russell Jr.
Take off Taylor's name and put in samuel peter
Taylor is much more in league with a chad dawson, and mark breland, when it comes to living up to the hype
Not to mention his best win was over Berto,a fighter who clearly belongs on this list..
The difference being Ortiz is a mental midget and Berto was just overhyped. Both of them were still capable of presenting challenges to good fighters in the WW division. Broner got outjabbed by Marcos Maidana, only Lacy is in that category of being exposed imo.
Not sure why OP didnt use Victor Ortiz as an example, he was supposed to be the new ODLH. Taylor was a legitimate fighter, he just declined rather rapidly.

:haha:
Stops mentioning Taylor and focuses on Khan. Classic!

I mentioned Khan cause he like Broner was called a hype job, which is absolutely ridiculous..Go ahead, keep detracting from one fighter,I can detract from Khan Taylor any fighter really..IMO tho, that's lame..How bout giving fighters their just due..I never said if you did or did not like Broner, tbh that's neither here nor there..What I said is to be fair which you are not doing..Broner is a three div Champion beat/destroyed the number 1 guy at 135lb..
Now I can start saying things about Khan or Taylor to stomp down their careers..I know both of their careers very well..It would be false tho, cause none of them, including Broner is what I would really call a hype job..
Broner does not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as the other two.
I'm not detracting, I'm stating facts. You claimed Ponce De Leon was a top fighter at the weight Broner beat him - fact is he was clearly not and it's debatable if Broner really won that fight. DeMarco was never no1 at anything.
Broner's resume is fuking gash compared to Khan's and Taylor's.
Khans best win to date,is Maidana..What if someone called Khan a hype job after he loss to Peterson and Maidana loss to Alexander??It would be foolish even still..Maidana was a good win..The same as De Leon and DeMarco and Paulie M were good wins for Broner..It's really simple tbh,and yes you are detracting..Are you saying De Leon was not in the top 10 of the div when Broner fought him??Oh and DeMarco was clearly ranked num 1 at LW when Broner beat him..
:haha:
Stops mentioning Taylor and focuses on Khan. Classic!
Maybe,I did know of De Leon from 126lb..I like De Leon and think he's a solid fighter tbh..Maybe I'm crazy but I would not call him a garbage fighter..
I think he's decent.
He loses usually by stoppage every time he fights a top fighter.
Beat Kotelnik. Kotelnik goes on to school Alexander in his home town. Beats down Paulie - Paulie goes on to win another world title, fight close with Broner. Beat Maidana, Maidana goes on to win another title and kicks the sh1t out of Broner. Beats Judah - Judah goes on to beat Paris, fight well against Garcia.
Khan and Broner don't belong in the same sentence you clown! I notice you mentioned Taylor too at first but it quickly became all about Khan you transparent twat
You've been staying on Khan within your post stupid,I'm just answering your post..If your post does not have anything about Taylor within it,how can I respond to/about Taylor..Fucck head..:buttkick:
Everything you said about Khans opponents is true..Like I said already,I did not say anything negative about Khan..Your taking it that way, cause you know how much sh1t you talked and how wrong you were..:buttkick:Double time..I just really like owning ya dunbazz..It's fun..
Hype jobs or not, both Khan and Broner didn't live up to it although Khan has some good wins whereas Broner's best wins were arguable and still against competition that wasn't that great to begin with.
LMAO,Khan falls into this boat weather you like it or not..BTW how has Khan repeatedly proven he was a top fighter at Jr WW??When his best win there was against Maidana??
What does it matter how Broner beat him??I'm not comparing Khan to Broner to say who is a better fighter..I'm comparing their situations of them taking a loss, then being called a hype job..Which I really don't believe either of them are..Your just butt hurt about how Khans career has went, and being the fact that it's coming from me makes you extra salty..LMAO..Don't be,I've not said one negative thing about Khan..

This kid was desperate to make the thread about Khan :lol1:
Khan has repeatedly proven he was a top fighter at 140lbs.
Broner hasn't proved sh1t.
Paulie M is more accomplished than Maidana? Ok then and Khan beat his ass down and stopped him whereas Broner toiled to split decision over an older version.
Stop the nonsense!

Cause many called Khan a hype job after he was KO'd in a rd,and called him a hype job again when he lost to Peterson and Garcia..The fact is that Khan is not a hype job,and even tho Broner did get a lot of undeserved hype..I would not really put him as a hype job either..BTW,Paulie M is more accomplished in the sport then Maidana..
