Could be an interesting match-up.
I could see Rios coming out on top.
Broner needs to learn how to stop eating punches at WW.
I laugh when I watch his sparring videos when he is trash talking his sparring partners with 'you can't hit me!' = eats a jab, 'you can't hit me! = eats a jab.
AB has talent with his hand's but not his feet, you need both a the top level unless you have a granite chin (he does not).
Please, Rios is the hottest garbage out. I compare this fight to Canelo-Angulo. Canelo had lots of inactivity vs Trout and Floyd but what did he do when they put a heavy bag in front of him in Angulo, exactly what was expected. Rios would be the damn heavy bag this time.
id have to go with rios on this fight.
he will have 0 respect for broner, garcia already has the blueprint to beat broner.
itd be easy work. bam bam would finish what chino started.
and this is coming from a broner fan.
Has Broner grown a real defense of some sort other than facing smaller guys ? No? Then even Rios would treat him like a piñata, although; it is a given Rios would get the same piñata treatment he is more than used to it, so he would endure while Broner would break like a twig.
Well hes zero and one with power punchers his size so you do the math.
Marcos is bigger than broner. Just cause he jumped up to 147 doesn't mean he belongs there. He made 140 easily
You would hear broners coach yell "underneath" all nigh long. Rios would be eating uppercuts
Broner would yell back " erbody just shill the fvck out" while he throws no punches and lets Rios go to work on him.
It crazy all of sudden broner loses every fight now smh ..ya Ganna say the same thing if floyed takes an L ....we Ganna read who wins floyed or mike Alvarado or floyed vs Paulie ....but with that said rios walks and eat all of broner punches makes it a ugly fight for broner but I got broner with help from the ref and judges
Well hes zero and one with power punchers his size so you do the math.
Hm, first thing I think about is Abril vs Rios... Then I just go ahead and think about Alvarado vs Rios...
Then I think, yeah, Broner oughta win that.
Even now, after both fighters had a chance to get soundly beat, I think Broner would win. Even if they stood in a telephone booth in the center of the ring, I think Broner wins.
Broner showed us, well - me - that he can deliver (with his flat-footed self) some very sharp and thudding shots. He has shown a tendency to wait a little too long to allow things to develop a little too much and he's anticipating before he actually deploys his own game plan, or offense, but I'm willing to bet that he's learned from the Maidana fight that he can't sit around and wait before he clocks his next move and that lateral movement for him is key.
For Rios, I'd be willing to bet that he's found out that he can't just be this plodding, always coming forward, herky-jerky, lead footed, "do YOU think I'm a punching bag?" type of guy, but that he now needs to think about taking a page away from Alvarado, Abril and Pacquiao's playbook by actually attempting to box from angles while refraining from trying to walk into a telephone booth all the time because he isn't Superman. He has shown a great ability to connect, but only when he's in within a, quote en quote, clinch.
Man, both of these former champs show continued promise, but I think the young wanna-be would probably take the cake.. resembling something of his Reese fight.
Still, NKUYD (never know until you do)! If I knew how to bet, and they fought, I would! This would be a good fight to see!:boxing:
BANG!BANG! :killyou:
If Broner just moves a bit he wins.if he stands and trades then Rios would have a chance of wearing him out with power shots..I'd take Broner though by wide decision.
Adrien Broner possibly hasn't a good enough reply to Rios chin, and would most likely get bullied into inside fighting where Rios is very dangerous.
He'll need footwork in order to beat Rios, an ability which he doesn't seem to be showing.
Broner wins his fights by knocking motherf**kers out. Mostly little, highly overmatched dudes.
Then he decided to jump up. Power didn't carry over. He doesn't outwork anybody (never has). And now he can get hurt. Badly. He would just walk down MFs at lower weights. That's out the window at 140 up.
He's not going to walk down Rios, outwork Rios, and he sure as hell isn't going to KO Rios. I'm not just trying to bash Broner for the sake of bashing Broner...I just don't see any way how he wins the fight.
Brandon would bully AB.
