FOTY - Broner vs Maidana

How can it be FOTY when Maidana dominated the fight? Brian Kenny was right, it wasn't close.

You guys are nuts! This fight was not even close for Broner and far away from being FOTY!! I agree just cus broner loss people are gonna try to give it that, way too many bangers this year that were CLOSE broner didn't do sh*T tonight but hang on for dear life:boxing:

I think Maidana dominated and it didn't have that competitiveness that you usually find in fight of the years, but in terms of the emotions going through me and how exhilarated I was during the fight, it hasn't been topped. It gets my vote. Sort of somewhat similar to Hopkins-Trinidad. It won the award even thought Hopkins dominated. It was just the story line and the surprise of it all that made it a memorable fight.
