Will HBO buy Klitschko-Leapai on Feb 8?

Why would i need to lie about it? I was in Bern a couple of years ago to visit one of my friends. I was given a free ticket to Wlad-Thompson II. Do I need more sources? How often do they show a Klitschko fight on a main channel here in Denmark? Not often. Yeah I guess - If you can call that hugfest a fight. And who did he fight before that? Wach, Pianeta, Mormeck, Thompson etc. and then he gave us a totally crap fight a Povetkin for which he was entirely to blame. And now he fights someone who's realistically not even a top 20 fighter. He's a mandatory...

I know, what kind of boxer fights these days, they all should just be celebrities, start calling out for fights they don't deserve and fake injuries. Boxers who actually fight and beat legimate condtenders are such a stupid cunts. +1000 , I prefer watching W.K fighting a challenger that will give everything than watching him against David the sore (toe) loser Haye. Wladimir would normally smash Leapai but one Punch can change everything in a hw fight. Leapai has a puncher's chance, 90-10 fight to me.

If the fight does go ahead, probably not...And it could be for the best, American viewing audience probably not a priority for K2 in this fight I imagine as they will be able to create enough of a buzz over here in Europe and Australia/Pacific. Then, once Leapai is dealt with, HBO can pick up Wlad's next fight against a 'bigger name contender' hopefully, such as Pulev. As such, this will also avoid him some of the inevitable criticism from disappointed American fans... :boxing:

They are not on PPV and they are not shown in all European countries. The interest in Europe for the klitschkos is average at best. Which countries does not show their fights and what do you mean by average? Pleasing is easy. Drop the belt and fight Fury or Pulev or Chisora or Stiverne. Someone who's actually fought someone in the division. Or who's a name who would actually generate interest. This fight is equal to or worse than Pinaeta. Yeah its a fairly pointless mando, but he is coming off a fight against the best in the division not named Klitschko.

HBO has done a better job this year of not overpaying for crap fights. They should stay the course and not buy any of Holdimir's bouts unless they are against someone decent like Stiverne or someone like that.
