Lets say this was next, who wins and why?
Poll wi be straight to the point, no draw or UD, SD bullshit. Vote and discuss...
By the way, I picked Austin Trout...his boxing skills would set up a late round KO or a wide UD.
You must of not heard that Kirkland is a completely different fighter with Ann Wolf. lol. What a joke. Kirkland is that same fighter that was stopped by Ishida, and all of a sudden after he stops Tapia he's different fighter. My question is what makes Wolf such a great trainer, and who else has trained that was worth a ****. Nobody I can think of Kirkland is her best fighter and thats not saying much.
Kirkland has a chance with anyone that is will to trade with him but thats about it.
wolfe isnt among the best trainers in boxing, but she is among the best (if not the best) S&C coaches in the sport. which is why kirkland is lacking in the skills department but a beast from a physical point of view.
he isnt that same beast without ann though. ppl act as if the ishida fight came out of nowhere, he had several fights after splitting with wolfe and he looked awful in all of them. not saying he is flawless when she is with him, but he really is a completely different fighter. far from the same guy who was beaten by ishida.
Kirkland didn't look that great against Tapia but I still see him beating Trout. I don't see Trout hitting him harder than Tapia did and he couldn't keep Kirkland off of him. Kirkland looked rusty and somewhat gassed against Tapia but give him a few more live rounds and he'll be back to being a formidable Jr MW.

She's not a great trainer, but the difference between Kirkland with and without her is quite vast. She beats the sh*t out of him and gets him in condition he isn't in without her.
Austin it seems cant hurt any top level opponents you have to go way back to find a KO and his TKOs came against what everyone here will agree on really low level opposition.Im not knocking trout he beat cotto so he gets props boxing is funny though trout gets a UD against D rodriguez miguel cotto destroys the guy,i believe kirkland walks through him theres no way james hangs around outside looking at trouts stay away from me jab kirkland will step to him big time trout could make it a hug fest though i pick kirkland.
Trout by KO after countering one of Kirkland wild punches. It's remarkable how Kirkland seemingly compete at a high level while having such a piss poor defense. Against Tapia, he was hit cleanly with almost everything Glen threw in the first round.
Against Austin Trout, I can't see how Kirkland could work his way in without getting tagged by a clean flush counter punch. I think this would look somewhat like the Ishida fight; Kirkland coming in wild and getting cracked cleanly right on the jaw.
I like Kirkland because he's so offensive minded and he has that 'killer instinct' but it confounds me that his defense sucks so bad. He has the body type and conditioning to employ a Mike Tyson type pic-a-boo bob-and-weave defense. I'm not sure why they don't work on that with him

If his chin holds up...Trout has been dropped twice in his career and has gotten up, and still tried to win.
Kirkland was KO'd by a feather fisted >>>.
Don't act like that was the same Kirkland. Not saying he beats Trout, but having Wolfe in the corner obviously makes a huge difference.

Kirkland was KO'd by a feather fisted ***.
He looked like crap in his last fight too. Trout should box his ears off fairly easy!
