1:30 in...he spends a lot more time on the inside than normal. You can tell he's trying to evolve his game to move a little less and spend more time on the inside. He didn't really have to use it against Agbeko though.
A short/inside game the only thing Rigo missing. If he adds that wrinkle, him and Ward should be jousting for the #1 P4P spot soon enough.
i think his fight against Agbeko .. his performance was slightly more aesthetic than the Donaire one...
What bothered me about the Donaire fight was his inactivity and over use of footwork was up there. It remind me in a way of guys in Mortal Kombat that can juggle you till you die... yea you won, but its cheap how u won.
In the Agbeko fight I found myself admiring him more.. there was a section where he delivered like 5 thunderous straight lefts to the body to agbeko that had me grinning.
He isn't one of my favs yet, but I can tell Rigo is gonna be someone that grows on me
I agree. Rigo has speed, power and awesome footwork, but he needs to know when to turn it on and off. Quite often he is negative in his activity and that is what a lot of the paying public hate.
Donaire could and should not have been blamed if it was boring, because Rigo was the one using his speed and footwork to get away. Donaire is a counter puncher and looks awful when he chases a fight. I guess people are now respecting Donaire's power far too much.
Rigo is so fluid and I love watching him at times, but at others he could do a lot more. He would be a lot more popular if he was more active in offense.

Interesting...I don't think I've ever seen Rigo fight on the inside like that before. It was almost like watching another fighter.
