Who should Mayweather fight?

Floyd beats Kirkland, he was a bum. Floyd beats Manny, he was past prime. Floyd beats Sergio, he was old. Floyd beats GGG, he was a paper champ. Floyd beats Lara, he was a cherry pick. There is nothing this man can do for these idiots to be satisfied How did Kirkland land a job in your post? Kirkwho? As for the rest, I doubt Floyd even wins any of those.

Realistically, I'd like to see him take on Khan or Thurman, assuming One Time San Diego comes through his next bout impressively. Shawn Porter would be a good fight too, but he has a mandatory, albeit Brook would probably take some step-aside money in exchange for a shot at the title in September (vacant or otherwise).

Because 2 of his last 3 fights were huge money fights. Why do you think he moved back down in between? For fun? Why are we pretending that Mayweather doesn't come to the ring at 150 lbs and the highest he's weighed in is 151 lbs? He's also ignoring the fact that 2 of his last 3 had not been at "154" as he suggested. 154 vs Cotto, 147 vs Guerrero and 152 vs Alvarez is the correct answer. ....and like you mentioned, Floyd didn't even make 152, let alone 154 in the 3 fights that took place north of 147 vs the biggest names in the sport.

If it's money he wants, he should be going after Pacquiao and Martinez; the others on that list suck in terms of profitability.

Why do people think this fight is so easy to make? There's obstacles that aren't going away. Arum/Mayweather douchebaggery beef. HBO/Showtime. This isn't happening. After watching lara last night i noticed he doesn't have the speed to match floyd. He would get pot shotted all night and end up being a boxing clinic and it would get worse the longer the fight went. Lara is cut from the same stinking mold as Rigondeux. Nobody will win against them in or around their weight class. They should've stayed in the olympics. Floyd would be too slow compared to Lara. It would be like Bradley picking apart Marquez.

I voted for Pacquiao even thought the fight has no chance of happening. Unless Floyd keeps his 154 pound title he is not ducking by not fighting GGG or Lara at 154. Mayweather is only a welterweight and should only have to fight the best at 147. If he keeps his 154 pound title then he should fight the best a 154 and that is Lara and GGG who says he can make 154 with no problem.

When it's Mayweather it's ducking, draining, etc. etc. When it's Pacquiao it's excuses. Hypocrisy at it's finest. Sums up the TS quit well....

Its pretty f'n obvious theres onky one man he should really fight to get it out of the way and that is Pacquiao. I didnt see anyone complaining back then when Frazier lost to Foreman first time, n still fought ali again after. GGG, Martinez and maybe even Kirkland will numbers similar to Cotto. I agree Lara would not sell as well though. lol............how can you be a boxing fan and say such crazy things? He's considered an Atg that's why. He has earned his stripes. And PAC is the biggest purse Floyd can have especially now the purse split will be bigger for him if they fight. So whats the hold up?
