You put 2 counter punchers together you get what you got the superior one wins why is the Cuban one to blame? The same guys when put against come forward fighters give entertaining and dominating fights the hate in this thread is the automatically blaming the Cuban guy Donaire vs Rigo Donaire runs in the fight they are both counter punchers yet Rigo gets blamed....Same thing with Lara now? Lara is more entertaining than Mayweather, Alexander, Bradley and Wladimir lara, alexander, bradley and wlad is all in the same category. bradly was only exciting when he almost got laid out by provo. that was the ONLY instance. alexander was exciting when he was getting tagged by porter. that was the ONLY instance. wlad was exciting when he got spat on by chisora. lara... i only watched cuz of trout.

I'll never try and claim the Cuban style is the most exciting, but I do believe it shows how much you truly enjoy the craft of boxing if you can enjoy it. I never get off my seat watching it, but I can appreciate it. Personally I hate when fans ask fighter to change their style and potentially lose just to please the fans. Tis the game. Everyone knows how bias threads like these are styles make fights.

Cuban fighters get screwed because of their situation. If they were about to turn pro at 18/19 years old like everybody else they would have time to develop and become complete fighters. But by the time guys like Rigo and Lara get here their too old to change and have to go with what they know. It's really unfortunate when you think about it.

Has Trout ever been in an exciting fight? Obviously this was a style clash I knew the moment it was announced it would be a chess match i enjoyed watching him box the sht out of cotto. his fight with canelo i can watch on a random night while eating dinner.

And whats ironic is that Lara and Rigo are both better than floyd and more entertaining yet floyd is the one who people say is P4P #1 Lara beats floyds ass no one can deny that after watching this tonight Floyd is the better talent but Lara would give him his toughest fight out there. Lara vs Angulo was a great fight, it depends who you put these Cubans in with.. put them in with a boxer and they will try to out box them with their Cuban boxing pride.
